Boris Herbel was born 1978 in Berlin. 
He realised quiete early his passion for rhythms and grooves, and music was always a huge ingredient in his life but also in his childhood.
In the age of 9 years he started taking classic piano lessons and in the age of 14 he started singing in a small school band. The first contact to electronic music was created in the age of 15. A visit of the legendary Omen nite club in Frankfurt brought the decisive decision to start deejaying. 

1996 was the first year Boris tried to get himself behind the decks, and started playing daily in his bedroom. Quickly he started planning events where he played and created a full dance floor, which was essential for his career getting his first booking request in his region in locations such as Fantasy / Holzheim, Black Inn / Ranstadt. Smaller venues in Frankfurt followed like the Nachtleben or Vinylbar.
Some years later he stopped deejaying in case of work and family affairs, till he got back into the business in 2013. His passion for electronic music came back like never before, which you all can truly listen in his sets. Bookings in Kiel and Luxembourg came in quickly. In the end of 2014 Boris realized another big dream in life,  starting his own record label, Habitat Music. 
The label itself is looking back onto 10 amazing EP´s and is growing their reputation as imprint for danceable House Music with each release, with a flair for young, talented artists. Actually Boris is working on his own EP for Habitat Music, beside planning some collaborations together with famous Artists such as M.in.
