The track’s centrepiece melody, an ambiguous outburst of strings, horns and/or synths, is a cameo to Marco’s marauder’s mindset, moving serpent-like around the arena before retreating back into the dancefloor’s darkest recesses. The kick drums offer you front row seats to a piston pumping warehouse workout, and won’t let go from first drop to last. Must-have tech-house rebellion.

‘Magic Feet’ won’t fail you once Rob Janssen has cranked up the velocity and paid tribute to Dutch duo Edge of Motion, who remixed Mike Dunn’s track of the same name 30 years ago. Janssen’s minimalist stride is ruptured by a hellish one-note claxon twisting and waking you up to within an inch of your life, while a banshee cackles through a megaphone over and over. Brute strength techno that’s the soundtrack to civilization tumbling down, and whose whiplash effect measures both pleasure and pain.
