For episode 44 we invited a friend of the series by the name of NETNAK. Based in Amsterdam this guy is well known in the scene there. After being introduced to techno music by a friend he instantly fell in love. He got to know lots of new people including other producers and dj’s who taught him the art is mixing. 

Starting of playing hard grooves at high bpm, he soon realized dark and hypnotic tracks where more fitting in his style. He likes to fill a set with timeless tracks with the intention of telling a story with his mixing. In this way NETNAK tries to connect people with the same mindset and love for music. Together with these people he is aiming to broaden the techno scene and introduce sick dj’s who practice the art of mixing. 

Prepare yourself for an hour long mix filled with hypnotic techno which takes you on a journey created by NETNAK.

While my playing style isn't always focused on creating a hypnotic atmosphere, as a DJ, you learn to adapt to various venues and promoters. It's all about sensing the crowd's energy and selecting the right tracks to set the perfect tone for the event. In my eyes, that's what truly defines a skilled DJ."

Netnak tries to build up the sound
exactly as he has in mind, thanks to the Amsterdam producers he got far.

Normally his bpm is very high, but the songs that are produced give him a completely different interest in playing music.

His style of playing is not always on the hypnotic side.

As a DJ he learned to adapt at certain venues of promotors. 

Also feeling the crowd and setting the right tone or the event is what makes you a real DJ in his eyes.

Born and raised in Amsterdam with Moroccan roots.

Marco Aurelio takes you on an immersive journey through pulsating rhythms and dynamic soundscapes. 

His sets are dynamic and contain energy shifts, sometimes deep. Still, he stays consistently uptempo, driving the energy forward as hypnotic loops weave through the mix, creating a trance-like atmosphere. 

Expect layered sounds where he plays trippy and atmospheric set that pulls the audience to a deeper into a kaleidoscopic sonic experience. Tribal percussion elements add an organic, primal intensity, grounding the ethereal sound in raw, rhythmic power. 

Throughout the set, energy shifts keep the crowd on their toes, building tension and releasing it in waves, delivering an electrifying, mind-bending ride from start to finish.

Personally, he is called Sous and he is for many years behind the curtains a known face and contributor as well as a force to the underground scene in Amsterdam.
