MADALBA was at KINKY SUNDAYS for the season opening 2019 and it was love at first sight.

Madalba was born in July 1985 in Bari, south of Italy. From a 
very young age, her musical interests moved across a broad 
spectrum, going from house and dance music to rock and punk 
leading her lastly to techno and club-culture. 
At age 22 she approached the local scene as Djane with 
numerous performances in the club circuit of Bari. Through the 
years she has developed a continued and careful respect of the
musical experience. She moved to Berlin in 2011 started djing 
with only vinyl records. 
This helped her to build a strong reputation as an underground 
techno DJ, providing opportunity for her to play in clubs such as
Tresor, About Blank, SchwuZ, SO36 and Mikz in Berlin where 
she lives today. 
In September 2011, she spent one month in Detroit where she 
started the collaboration with DJ Seoul, Tom and Angie Linder of
Detroit Techno Militia. This travel has definitely and radically 
changed her approach to the techno concept, which she 
considers more a political and social phenomenon and a 
lifestyle than just a musical genre. 
Back to Berlin she immediately came into contact with the 
queer scene, then in full bloom, building a network primarily of 
interpersonal relationships based on mutual support and 
collaboration, a network that naturally strengthens over the 
years, leading her to basically all queer realities of the city and 
beyond. At the same time she cultivated her main profession as
a trauma surgeon in a historically male-dominated environment
which strengthens her awareness of her role as a woman in a 
still strongly male-dominated society. 
Thanks to these solid experiences she became resident of the 
party Homopatik, at the time the flagship of the Berlin queer 
reality.
Her first releases on vinyl came out in 2014 on DTM-Label 
(Detroit) and Arkita Records (Berlin), the label that she spawned

together with Synkopheit till 2016. 
In 2017 she launched her own record label Future Déjà Vu 
releasing 5 EP respectively by Transient X4, Ken Karter, 
Mannella a.k.a. DHARAXT, Phontonz & Shcuro, Rage Therapy.
In September 2017 she played her first house set for the 
summer closing of the Berlin based party Buttons. 
In Summer 2018 Madalba became resident dj at the historical 
club Tresor in Berlin. The same year she collaborated with the 
London based crew Aria with a party series in the UK capital. 
Currently, she is techno resident dj and co-organizer of the 
party Buttons in About Blank teaming with Danilo Rosato, Anna 
Bolena, Jabob Meehan, Shingo Suwa, Akirahawks, Paolo Di Nola 
and Stanley Schmidt. 
Since 2019 she is part of the roster of Pullproxy. 
Over the years, his awareness of the communicative power of 
his role as a DJ not an end in itself but always aimed at creating
a network based on the basic values of absolute respect for all 
forms of diversity, has been strengthened to the point carrier of
all her artistic and interpersonal expressions.

Natasha Giordano is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and DJ based in London. Her music is a sonic journey through inner emotions and dreams with ethereal melodies, analogue drones and hypnotic vocal loops.  

She recently released ‘Trilogy of Disjunction’. The tracks featuring a minimal combination of analogue synthesizers, classical violin recordings and haunting vocals that brings you into deeper dimensions. 

She also hosts a monthly show on Threads Radio where she investigates new sounds and started a new project named ’Same Sky’ performed with award-winning composer and musician Filip Sijanec. They will release a series of album experiments starting this summer.

Tresor Records proudly announces From The Far Future 3, a new album from Terrence Dixon. Continuing the story of his previous two iterations on this title, spanning 3 vinyl discs, it is a serene undertaking of unrivalled Motor City rhythms and sound. It finds the Detroit producer oscillating, from excursions in paradises of synth pointillism to husky storytelling and Dixon’s peculiar beat work.

A master in letting shapes find their form, Dixon allows the listener to wallow in recurring scenes. Lost Communication Procedure, Found In Space and Remarkable Wanderer etch a sound world of choral vibrations and cinematic dirge. Where gaseous clouds scrape the natural sonic pastures of such environments, the hypnotized listener staggers a drunken step, moving sideways by 0 or 1 or -1 into new scenes. Not least an expert in industrial abstraction, a human silhouette permeates Dixon’s sound. His ethereal storytelling portrays the heart-rending romance of Unconditional Love and unearths in I’m Away In Detroit monologuing moodscapes recalling our GPS voice assistants.

Out of Darkness initial recalls Kraftwerk’s Geiger counter, as from pure signal data and feedback spells an unceasing locomotive wormhole. Hazy, dense grooves drive across bleak city scenes in We Can Rebuild Him, into the raw vibe of Framework and the rude stabs of Spectrum of Light. The varying presence of Dixon's work is one of his textural signatures, at arm's length, brushing right within, and far out. The bumping mood of Earth Station is one such moment, close enough to isolate the diving bass somewhere within, simultaneously from afar it becomes positively gravitational.

The first two records of the series are rightfully considered among the finest embodiments of contemporary minimalism, symbolic documents of afro-futurism. This new work revives the classic series, continuing the relationship between Tresor and the undisputed master of Detroit techno into the present day.
