Zuversicht prägt dieser Tage die Gemüter und lässt uns darauf hoffen bald wieder gemeinsam ordentlich abzustampfen. Bis dahin haben wir für euch beste musikalische Unterhaltung im Stile der Verspulheit im Angebot. Zu Gast im 80ten Igelkarussell ist niemand geringerer als Garstique 🙌 Der quirlige Leipziger mischt die Szene schon seit langem auf und zählt wohl als soetwas, was man gemeinhin als Urgestein der Downtemposzene bezeichnet. Zusammen mit seiner Crew Slowereastside und Wuza gestaltet er in Leipzig und Berlin maßgeblich die Feierszene. Sein credo gebührt dem Lob der Langsamkeit - Alle Tracks die er spielt sind viel schneller produziert und werden ordentlich runtergepitched. Dadurch erzeugt er immer wieder Kreationen die völlig neu und experimentell erklingen. Dabei spielt die Diversität der Genres ebenfalls eine große Rolle: Von Hip-Hop, Indie, 80s, Wave, EDM, House, Techno, Breakbeats etc.. Als Teil des Duos GYRL, prägte er mit den Produktionen und Mixes lange Zeit maßgeblich den Slowpitchted Sound. Nun konzentriert er sich wieder mehr auf seine Solo-Projekte.

Sein Mix für uns entspricht 100% dem zuvor beschriebenen Sound. Für Musikliebhaber haben wir hier also genau das richtige in petto. Enjoy 🤗

This Set I made with all my heart is mostly a collection of songs I picked 2 weeks ago from one of the best season opener festivals I have been Skalar Festival. Dj/Producers that left me speechless and inspire this were Elias Doré, my absolute new discovery, Joyce Muniz, who is such a sweetie jumping around, bisu b2b MaKa and Late Night Jockel Sessions.

Artist that influence me currently and are in this particular Set are BadWolf, made in TLV & GoomGum

Making this set helped me work through the end of a cycle in my life that included coming into new relationship with endings. Endings in full acceptance & in recognition that the mirrors in front of me, just like myself, are whole. 

Infinitely grateful for RLS and the Fuchs & Hase Crew for providing this space.
