History:
“Confetti’s” started their offensive in the middle of the “New Beat” period in the late ’80s with the hit “The Sound of C”. The producers duo Serge Ramaekers and Dominic Sas composed in 1988 the song “The Sound of Confetti’s” to promote the then very well known nightclub “Confetti’s” in Brasschaat (Antwerp). “New Beat” was until then mainly an underground happening, but this changed rapidly through the coming of this song. Because the record label “USA Import Music” wanted to release the soundtrack so that it could be played in all discotheques, the song was released as “The Sound of C”.
