Following up their monumental 100th release, a 35-track label compilation named 'Chakravy​ū​h', New Delhi-based record label Qilla prepare to issue their next release from Goa-based producer Innerworld...Our pick from the album is opening track ‘Bloom‘. As twilight spellbinds the Western Ghats, a steamy breeze blows through a semi-deserted hamlet in the midst of a mind-altering reverie. This relentless drum workout features a blend of thumping kick drums, synth textures, space-echoed percussion, and highly-filtered FX sounds to convey untroubled crowds of human-sized mosquitoes in the dance.

Coming from a working-class background, living in the brutalist concrete of the 'Cité des Étoiles', in the heart of the Gier valley in France,industrial music has flowed through her veins since an early age, intertwining with memories of the mechanical rhythms and machine noises of her home region. Born in the depths of the night, Moravie grew up listening to the icons of post-punk and new/cold wave and devouring romantic gothic literature, where the macabre and the erotic mix. Developing a fascination for melancholic darkness also through cinema and passionate about the underground music scene in Lyon, she began her journey to become a DJ 6 years ago. Moravie's dark and fascinating musical aesthetic is inspired by occult and controversial literature and cinema: Octave Mirbeau, William Seabrook,Gabrielle Wittkop / Luis Buñuel, Jess Franco, Mario Bava, Lucio Fulci, Dario Argento... Between Eros and Thanatos, her sounds meander in an atmosphere that evokes a "Garden of Torture", like a tropical forest of strange and hostile beauty. The rhythms are dark and sexy. The bodies become wet, in an obsessive and piercing dance. And then, suddenly, the martial binary hits the dance floor... Cold shivers. It is then that light and shadow intertwine. Here you can feel the rich legacies of Darkdisco and Mexican and South American EBM. He is keen to introduce the new EBM scene, which responds completely to current political oppressions, considering the anger of living and music as the most revolutionary acts possible that unite and federate the masses.

With „Trial And Error“, the Berlin-based Electro-band Solitary Experiments launches a dance floor compatible appetizer for their upcoming album unto the world right in time for Pentecost. Limited to 1000 copies in a hand numbered Digipak and sporting 11 songs, remixes and extended versions.

Solitary Experiments, Germany’s most successful tightrope walkers between Electro Pop and harder synthetic sounds make a spectacular return. As an adequate appetizer for their new album “PHENOMENA”. The Berlin-based quartet releases the new Maxi-CD “Trial And Error” on May 17th, right on time for Pentecost. “Why think small when you can go big?” seems to have been the band’s motto, as the strictly limited release (1000 copies in a hand numbered Digipak) sports a total of 11 tracks, thus easily reaching album length. The title track is a vibrant tune with hard beats and an aura of instant catchiness which reminds of the golden age of the Future-Pop-movement in the most positive way. A song that is destined to become a club classic, “Trail And Error” has anthemic qualities without leaning to the shallow side and is a picture perfect example of the band’s straightforward motto: “solid & catchy!”
