This is a recreation of the famous tape recorded live from Renaissance, Venue 44, and given out exclusively to members on a subsequent night. It has been remastered and kept true to the original, with just a little reworking and that big chunky 'Tape' sound, without the quality loss :)

Man On Wax / Esoteric is a North West UK DJ with over 20 years of experience.  This DJ has played heavily on the underground sounds circuit since the age of 16. 
The Electronic, Acid and Techno movement in Berlin heavily influences him due to his many and frequent travels to the city, this is very prominent in his mixes with the dark and sometimes industrial sounds.

Recently, he has had huge success on YouTube with the infamous ‘Lost in Berghain’ mix, which is now topping over 20k hits.

Man on Wax has a great reputation for throwing some of the best techno parties in random venues, such as breaking in to warehouses and also small basement clubs in his local area. He is the founder and organizer of the past brand “Achtung, The Morse Code”.

This mix is a reflection of the first 8 months of 2019. A 7 year breakup hit me hard to the point of two suicide attempts, heavy drug and alcohol abuse and sat me in a place of darkness. The selected tracks are an audio insight into my dark and now colourful journey.

For our 15th Nightime Drama podcast we are thrilled to announce a very special edition: Esther Duijn recorded live at Tresor! This 3 hour all-vinyl opening set was recorded on the Globus floor in January by the talented Dutch-born producer and DJ.  An incredible mix of old, new, rare and deep records.

Having released on labels like Coincidence Records, Fred P's Soul People Music and German Housewax, Esther has over 25 vinyl releases under her belt.  This has not gone unnoticed by the scene, earning her a residential DJ slot at the mighty Tresor in Berlin.  She also regularly performs at Gegen (KitKatClub), De School, UNTER NYC, Pornceptual, Freerotation Festival, Lantern Beijing, Gare Porto, Sisyphos, Bushwick A/V, Panorama Bar and Trouw.

Esther remains busy running a label featuring artists such as Myles Serge, Duijn & Douglas, Hakim Murphy, Plural, Opuswerk and Lee Holman. Add to that a podcast series and stream & event called "Another Earth" where she has had guests such as German master Moritz Von Oswald, Tom Ellis and Anton Zap.

Produced in Underground Studios, Chicago by Rocky Jones and Tyree Cooper this was released on DJ International Records (CAT# DJ 900) in 1990 and the 8 minute Instrumental Mix was the one that got battered around the clubs in the UK at the time.
Mixmasters was Martin Luna, the catchy piano riff was written by Wayne Gray and other mixes on the 12 inch featured a Hip House rap by MC Action.
