We are thrilled to welcome back the Korean-Japanese producer, visual artist, DJ, and label boss Red Pig Flower for her second release on our imprint. *Whispering Mouse EP* is a masterful blend of Minimal, Tech House, and Techno, where she crafts a club-ready atmosphere with two hypnotic original tracks.    

Elevating the release, we have Dimitri Andreas & Igor Vicente, a seasoned power duo from Brussels, bringing a progressive twist to the originals, while our Berlin-based homie Weg offers refined minimal house versions, adding contrasting yet complementary flavours to the EP.    

As always, the record is wrapped in stunning artwork by the talented Fernanda Mattos, completing the immersive experience.

Bondage-Music continues its ‘Home (Remixes)’ package this July with part three, featuring Sven Tasnadi, Pablo Bolivar, Martin Aquino, Frink, Schlepp Geist & Krink Mihai Popoviciu: 'The album’s called 'Home' because it is inspired by my experiences from my home city Sibiu in Romania. Home is also the place where the album was produced, in my stripped down studio. It is where I always return to rest and chill after touring the world and the place where I feel most safe and comfortable. The artwork shows an image of the airport lane in Sibiu with surrounding hills and mountains in the back. It is a metaphoric 'gate' to both leave and return home.' With ‘Home’ gaining the attention and picking up support from the likes of Ryan Crosson, Luciano and Cesar Merveille, the Bondage-Music team now welcome to an array of talent to the label for 2017 as the LP is deconstructed and reworked across four brand new packages. Across the remix package Pablo Bolivar turns in a sun drenched acid-tinged take on ‘Sandstone’, Frink strips back ‘Hypnosia’ to a raw groove-led vibe and Martin Aquino dubs out ‘Sunshine’ with swirling chords. Sven Tasnadi offers up a heady interpretation of ‘Music 999’ to follow fuelled by stuttering vocals, stab sequences and a bumpy drum workout before Schlepp Geist & Krink’s remix of ACK closes the package on a dark and brooding tip.

Blow-up new single from TROY PIERCE + remixes by BERG NIXON and MATT JOHN
TROY PIERCE (aka Louderbach, Slacknoise and one third of Run Stop Restore with Magda and Marc Houle) unleashes one of the year’s most anticipated tracks with ’25 BITCHES’. The original track goes back a while, coming into creation as a joke composed while stuck waiting in an airport. Not like humor is never ever a part of Troy’s music or persona, ’25 Bitches’ has been knocking down doors in his and fellow DJ’s sets like Magda and Richie Hawtin since last fall. Pierce’s bass-heavy mix starts off full of dark ghosts, working into a dub bassline and surgical mix of effects and vocals.

Remixers for Volume I stepped up to the challenge with steam and force. Detroit’s BERG NIXON moves two ships in the night, colliding his vibes in the razor-sharp edit on side A that swells and ping’s while shifting to his more melodic and animated B side version with Berg’s ‘ZigZag remix’. MATT JOHN hits the chip from Berlin with his ’25 Pitches’ remix. Matt slices thru the bassline by creating a new intimate close-up version with a monotone pulse and subtle sneak-attack. Both remixers deliver the energy for DJ’s and dancefloors while also working in subtleties for deeper listening.

For the latest release on his legendary Intec Digital imprint, Carl Cox has re-enlisted the talents of the ‘Queen of Techno’ Nicole Moudaber, who returns to Intec Digital with the deadly ‘Roar EP’ in January 2013. The pair has a long-standing relationship which has seen Nicole become both a regular guest at Carl Cox’s ‘Revolution’ night at Space Ibiza and also deliver her inaugural release for Intec Digital in 2011.
 
The ‘Roar EP’ witnesses Nicole continue 2012’s fine form. The previous 12 months saw her release two killer EP’s on Drumcode, alongside outings on Kling Klong and Leena Music. Now Nicole steps into the New Year with two trademark powerful and percussive techno tracks.
 
First up is title-track ‘Roar’ on which Nicole’s signature hard-hitting drums remain constant and commanding throughout. On top of this tough base Nicole gradually adds other elements such as a shimmering melody, brooding synths and an echoing vocal, which expertly serves to build the atmosphere and tension in the track to boiling point about six minutes in, upon which the track breaks back down into it’s percussive groove - definitely one for peak-time dancefloors.
 
Next up on a funkier techno tip is ‘Brooklyn Hangover’. While the track is again centred on tightly-programmed tribal drums, the overall vibe is much more playful as melodic stabs are given a prominent position resulting in an infectious and engrossing techno cut.
 
The ‘Roar EP’ once again demonstrates Nicole’s considerable talents and shows why she is considered one of the leading producers on the scene. It is sure to strengthen her already solid foundations for what is set to be a landmark year production-wise for a rising star.

Radio Slave returns to his Rekids label with ‘Live My Life’, including a remix from Saved Records’ boss Nic Fanciulli.

Responsible for some of the most recognisable vocal tracks in techno for the past 15 years, Radio Slave’s latest sees him turn in yet another tough, infectious cut that uses soulful vocal refrains as hooks. Airtight, rolling grooves have been a prominent feature in much of Radio Slave’s work, and ‘Live My Life’ is no different, paired with occasionally overlapping vocals it’s a masterclass in tension and release.

On the flip, Grammy-nominated and globally renowned DJ and producer Nic Fanciulli cleverly reinterprets Edwards’ original, in a version that sees a pulsing, offbeat bassline and ever-evolving drums drive the track towards vocal crescendos throughout. Stirring, memorable, and yet another outstanding release from one of dance music’s finest.
