For those in the know, The Mole is perhaps one of the most influential underground House music producers of all time. They don’t call him The Mole for nothing, he digs deep and encapsulates the true spirit of the genre and there’s few producers who’s catalogue has been as widely sought after and respected as his. Anyone who’s anyone who plays House music likely has more than a few of his records locked and loaded in the crates or on a stick.

For many years he has released music on the likes of Perlon, Ostgut Ton, Sound Of Vast, Kompakt, Internasjonal and more. More recently he has formed an affiliation and connection with Circus Company on which he has released both EP’s and albums.

Speaking of which he has a new record out, a deconstructed beat tape of sorts based upon influences from Hip Hop and cassettes alongside his deep rooted love of House music.

This mix follows soon after and to be honest, it’s one we’ve been excited about receiving for some time. The Mole is a bit of a legend round these parts.

Su producción musical comenzó en 2008, a  la fecha posee 27 referencias editadas en sellos de Chile, Panamá, Alemania y España. En su primera etapa como productor, fusionó trabajos de Violeta Parra, Pablo Neruda e investigaciones a etnias mapuches con su música. Así mismo realizó grabaciones con diferentes instrumentistas que fueron dando un sello particular a sus trabajos.
 
Sus viajes por Europa, influenciaron su sonido, manifiestos culturales como los existentes en Berlín, Chile, Estambul y España resumen su sonido actual. Su escenario fundamental es la cabina de DJ, lo que le ha permitido viajar por el mundo, realizando presentaciones en clubes de Argentina, Perú, Tokio, Berlin, Barcelona, Ibiza y Noruega, compartiendo cabina con artistas internacionales como: Pier Bucci, Luciano, Dennis Ferrer, Dandy Jack, Green Velvet, Kayserdisco, Ambivalent, Nick Curly, Alex Picone, Valentino Kanzyani, Petre Inspirescu, Pig  & Dan, Hosh, Oliver Giacomotto, Italo Boys, Julian Jewel, Carl Creig, Sam Paganini, Sasha Carassi, Oxia, Carlo Lio & Marco Carola entre otros. 

En 2015 fundó Leuchtturm Records, sello discográfico orientado al Techno, House, Deep, Minimal y música experimental, generando un espacio para que talentos chilenos muestren su música al mundo.
 
Con dos formatos para sus presentaciones, desarrolla un poderoso Live y dj set convencional, utilizando plataformas análogas como el vinilo o digitales, con una selección que se mueve a través del House y Techno Minimal según las características que demande su presentación.

La búsqueda constante, visión e inspiración, hacen de Marco un artista vanguardista, interesante e intrigante a la hora de producir y escucharlo en vivo. Algunas de sus creaciones como Sopaipillas Light, Alegría Alegría, Me Gustas Cuando Callas, Lemur, Mental Geographic o Disco Tilt, hablan por sí solos de su creatividad y versatilidad.
