Seagull's Point Of View

Two months ago I fell over, a simple loss of balance and crushed my right wrist - at the same time this virus caused me and most of the world to seclude ourselves - and I couldn't play my piano. My cast and splint are off but there is healing still to do. Finally, this week I sat down to play - painful, but that is life.  In my seclusion I met a woman online in pain from a broken knee and a broken life. She lives in New York. Everyone has their own pain to live with. We are not alone, even when we feel alone.  Everything I record has a reason.  In the music is the emotion of her story. I recorded this music for her.  

It is now time for me to get my life back. My immune system is suppressed. I have rarely left my house since Feb. I teach my students over video chat. The world is different now and we don't know where it is going. That will be the story of my upcoming music.
