Bio: Lente creates a groovy and playful sound, moving the audience into a flowy trip. He began in the electronic scene in Oslo where he started to make his own parties and productions. He is known for long and deep sets played in clubs such as Sisyphos, Kater Blau and many others. In Oslo he is known for crazy day parties and sets, allowing his listeners to get lost in between. Currently he is working with his studio buddy Dennis Jernelius on 2 upcoming singles for Edelgran Records.

Lente believes in freedom and peace, and that’s also the message he seeks to spread – giving people a great time and a chance to love each other.

In Gedanken versunken taumele ich übers Deck. Über mir breitet sich die unendliche Weite des Firmaments aus. Die Nacht ist so klar, dass man vermag das Funkeln der Sterne als ein sanftes Streicheln auf der Haut zu spüren. Als würde man hören, wie die Erde sich um sich selbst dreht und dabei mit einer irrsinnigen Geschwindigkeit durch den Äther rauscht. 
Durch mein güldenes Teleskop am Steuerstand erahne ich die eine oder andere gesprenkelte Supernova. Mir öffnet sich der Himmel wie ein Meer aus Geheimnissen, verhüllt in einem silbern-schillernden Schein, der wie Sternenstaub mystisch aus dem All herunterrieselt.
Durch den Wind säuseln die glitzernden Sphären über die modernden Dielen und bilden verworrene Muster, wie Spuren im Sand. Es lassen sich hieroglyphische Schriftzeichen erkennen, eine kryptische Darstellung alter Noten und Striche. Es liest sich „Nina Mako“ - ein atlantisches Stück beruhigender Meeresklänge und dem tuckerndem Tonus vom Ein- und Ausatmen des Universums…

Iit’s easier to be a satellite than it is to be the Sun. It’s easier to respond to what someone else is doing than to initiate action on your own.
It’s easier to let someone else fill the conversational void so that you don’t have to come up with something to say, easier to yield the floor to someone than to claim it for yourself…
And it’s not just easier – it’s safer. If you’re singing harmony with the world, you can blame the melody if people don’t like the song. If you’re creating what someone asks you to create instead of what your heart tells you to, you have someone to blame if people don’t like the finished product.
If you don’t let the world see you, you can’t be rejected.
So yes, it is safer and easier to be the satellite. But it’s not what you came here to do…
There is only way to detach yourself from the gravitational pull of larger satellites, and that is to place yourself at the center of your own solar system. Be the one who sings the melody. Write your own stories.
You may doubt it, but the Leo Full Moon has news for you: you are not a satellite, not a reflection of anyone else. 
You are the Sun, filled with your own light, golden and warming, spilling out around the edges when your guard is down.
When you laugh, your eyes sparkle. When you speak from your heart, you’re thrilling to behold. Just look at you.
You are filled with your own light.

This piece was on my agenda for a long time. It feels right to publish this today, 30 years after the release of Nelson Mandela. Fighting for freedom, toleration and non-racialism, Mandela initiated the era of the modern Africa. His belief in a peaceful shift of oppressing structures is outstanding. 

Africa is probably the most diverse and yet underrated continent on earth. This did not make it easy for me to put this set together. I really wanted to do justice to what the continent deserved. On the other hand I knew that one cannot capture all the diversity of this nation in one set. This gave me the opportunity to create my own story. Here it is. Fresh diverse crazy.
