Rooted in organic house, ‘Small Town Boys’ unfolds gently with a lush vocal sample woven into soft, blooming chords. A subtle yet steady groove anchors the track, while delicate layers of synths and organ gradually brighten the arrangement. Each element moves with care, allowing the harmonic layers to breathe and evolve, building a sense of intimacy and calm. Zymo discovered music early in life, learning to play the saxophone in his childhood and developing a deep interest in sound and composition. Kindisch is excited to welcome New York-born & Amsterdam raised artist deroos with his immersive new single ‘Cosmic Soup’. With 2 decades rooted in DJing, live instrumentation, and years behind the scenes as the Music Director in GOSPEL NYC, A&R, Event production and Artist Scout & Development, deroos now steps into his own musical vision, inviting listeners into a sound world shaped by organic rhythm, personal reflection, and deep sonic exploration.


‘Cosmic Soup’ is built on a rolling deep house groove, driven by crisp percussive patterns and punchy synth stabs. Over this steady pulse, a calming voice speaks a mantra about our existence within the “cosmic soup,” blending philosophy and groove into a trance-like experience. As the track evolves, a second, deeper voice joins in, adding weight and dimension to the piece. The result is a hypnotic, meditative journey, fluid and grounding, with an atmosphere that pulls the listener inward.


deroos draws inspiration from the rhythms of nature and sounds collected throughout his travels, weaving them into a style that feels grounded, intentional, and full of presence. His productions often include his own voice, lyrics, and live instrumentation, creating a rich and personal listening experience. With years of musical experience behind him, deroos presents a project that feels both refined and raw.
