Germany based artist Isabelle Gaultiér is making music as DJane and producer for more than a decade. She has been playing at numerous venues and festivals like Fusion in Germany (2023).

Robert Babicz aka Rob Acid has been redefining the boundaries of electronic music since the early 1990s. His unique artistry encompasses sound, vision, emotion and spirituality.

Isa's work is supported by deejays like AantiGen, DJ M-TRAXXX, Gabriel Le Mar, Jacki-E, Judith van Waterkant, Mandibula, Mark Reeve, Michael Otis, Monolog Tonspiel, Pat de Mandragore, Sportbrigade Sparwasser and many others.

With over 7 million plays and counting on YouTube Compuphonic's 2011 collaboration with Marques Toliver, 'Sunset' raised the bar pretty high. Since then Maxime has gone on to produce remixes for the likes of Giorgio Moroder, Gotye even and fellow Belgians The Subs (winning a Red Bull award in the process) and release two acclaimed EPs on Berlin label Exploited.

Now finally Maxime and Marques have reunited for a new EP on Exploited, 'Magical Shoes', and the results are everything we could have hoped for.

Having delivered two huge club hits in 2014 with ’Radio Atlantis’ and ’O Cypres’, Belgian star Compuphonic returns this February with his third EP for Exploited, ‘Magical Shoes’. 2 tracks of sublime House music, the ‘Magical Shoes’ EP sees Compuphonic finally reunited with the Beyoncé approved American singer Marques Toliver, whose vocals previously graced Maxime’s 2012 breakout hit ’Sunset’.

Once again this Transatlantic pairing have struck gold as Compuphonic’s distinctive brand of deeply emotional, nuanced, House Music provides the perfect setting for Marques’ plaintive vocals. With it’s distinctive Korg M1 organ and shuffling beats ‘Magical Shoes’ instantly brings to mind legendary ‘90s New York clubs like The Sound Factory but thanks to Compuphonic’s production skills it goes well beyond that of simple period pastiche and sounds utterly fresh for 2015, a bonafide club hit that is already peppering the sets of DJs such as Laurent Garnier, Tensnake and The Magician.

As the title suggests the EP’s 2nd track ‘The Sun Does Rise’ is the natural successor to the duo’s previous outing. As deep as the Pacific Ocean this is a trance inducing hymn to hope, music designed to elevate the soul as much as move the body and bring some much needed warmth back to clubland. Expect to hear this played everywhere and anywhere this year where the party goes through the night and the first morning light breaks over the dancefloor.

Dilate Records head honcho Evans makes his debut on Nightcolours with The Beauty Of Balance EP. The Sheffield based artist has been in fantastic form recently delivering EPs for the likes of EIN2, Clouds Above & Click Records.

Bondage Music concludes it’s Mihai Popovociu Remixes series this March with ‘Pt.4’, featuring reworks from Guido Schneider & Daniel Dreier, Kike Mayor, Toygun and Muui.

Guido Schneider & Daniel Dreier’s remix of ‘Triumph’ takes the lead, reworking the original into a percussive fuelled eight minute workout of subtly nuanced rolling drums, spiralling atmospherics fills and lumpy subs all dynamically dancing around one another throughout. 
Kike Mayor’s take on ‘Tentacle Operated’ follows and tips the focus over to the floaty, ethereal bell chimes and delayed vocal chops from the original which ebb and flow around stripped-back drums and dubby synth swells.

Toygun’s ‘L8 Remix’ of ‘Sandstone’ opens the flip, taking things in a more groove-driven direction with raw acid blips, shuffled percussion and gritty stab sequences before Muui’s ‘Paranoid Mix’ of Havana rounds out the package on a deeper tip, laying focus on eerie vocal chants, murky synths and pulsing groove at its core.

The Mihai Popoviciu ‘Home Remixes Part.4’ is out 16th March 2018 on Bondage Music.

I went pretty minimal on this one, no hi-hats, and pretty much no drums actually, just a kick and much later into the track a snare comes in.....There was something about the simple repetitive 2 note melody hits and chords I landed on that just seemed to work without needing anything much else, well hopefully it works for other people too and not just me. It's been going down really well in the clubs at least, it seems to make people clap for some reason, maybe because it's so simple and kick focused rhythmically, it's got a bit of a marching stomp feel.

I stripped out most of the parts from the original, and focused on the great pads and vocal sweeps, which seemed to lead to the melodic idea somehow. It was one of those remixes which flowed nice and easily, not too much conscious thought required, I just let it flow out.

Over the course of the last three plus decades, the German born DJ, musician and composer Marc Romboy has become synonymous with a soulful electronic music sound that has taken him all over the world. As well as releasing on only the most influential labels, from Innervisions to Cocoon and Kompakt to Senso Sounds, he is also the sole mastermind behind the influential Systematic Recordings label and has been since 2004.

Nowadays an album specialist, 2006 saw him release his debut album, the captivating „Gemini" whilst in 2017 Marc released his first listening long player called „Voyage de la planète“, a pure electronica album with classical music influence and later, in summer 2017 the live recording of his collaboration with the Dortmund Philharmonic Orchestra called „Reconstructing Debussy“, in cooperation with Boiler Room hit the stores.

Despite being a key player for so long, Marc is still as relevant as ever and remains right at the sharp end of electronic music. Proof of that comes in the form of his DJ schedule, which takes him from Fabric to Womb and Berghain to Rex, as well as to not one but three separate Boiler Room shows. All three proved Marc to be a dexterous performer who never relies on obviousness or gimmicks, instead telling truly musical stories that place dancers right at the heart of the action.
