Recorded live at Ecstatic Church on a rainy Xmas day near the white sand beach of Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

Though it was abnormally rainy and cold this Xmas day, the dance community still came out in full force to enjoy a deep dance with thier family and friends. We found ourselves under the roof at a beach club overlooking the beautiful white sand shores of Playa Del Carmen. The rain washing our cares away, the ocean taking our troubles out to sea.

Since it was Xmas, there was a certain famiy vibe in the air, with generous hugs all throughout, huge smiles the entire time, with little children running around and laughing about. The dance concluded with a laughter yoga cuddle puddle. All guided by the amazing Agni on facilitation, and my tunes guiding the journey.

I hope you enjoy. This set is a big wave that peaks up high with bouncy tones and then splashes down into some trappy, bassy Xmas carols, sending us off into a state of smiles and laughter.

Jalaa is a Sufi-inspired musical project that brings elements from Arabic, Persian, Turkish and also gypsy music. The project emerged in Chapada dos Veadeiros, materializing an internal call that the members had already been working on to deepen the traditional musicality of the Middle East and its relationship with Sufism. Jalaa's music offers a musical journey through the cultural and spiritual pathways and landscapes of the Middle East. Ancestral traditional instruments such as Ney, Darbouka, Bendir and Oud project, with their unique sound, a timeless atmosphere in the group's authorial compositions.

Super excited to play and improvise some chilled tunes to help ppl relax, chill, connect with each other while pampering themselves in the nearby Sauna and Ice Bath..... from December onward, every Thursday  6 to 10pm......welcome to join!!!

Journey into the ambient side of the Desert Dwellers, Liquid Bloom, Variant Field, Rara Avis, Bluetech and Shamans Dream with “Vajra Mind,” a collection of 21 meditative soundscapes compiled into a 2 hour soundtrack by AMANI. The calming quality of this music will add a soothing space to your life and creativity. “Vajra Mind” features some never before released tracks and alternate versions of classic tunes, and collects the various ambient tracks featured in the Desert Trax catalog from 2001 to 2015 into one cohesive offering. This music is medicine.
