In March 2007, Inigo Kennedy put Token on the map with our first release ‘Identify Yourself’.
7 years & 10 releases later, he now releases his first full length on Token: ‘Vaudeville’, a project that feels like the culmination of all those years and all those records.
In true, theatrical manner, Vaudeville is a collection of differing themes - from the abstract and freakishly odd to the direct and resonant. And just as the Vaudevillian shares a common purpose with his co-stars as the 'voice of the city'('voix de ville'), there runs through the centre of this record a clear narrative for urban experience.

On 14 April we are releasing a single to portend the full show: 'Lullaby'/'Petrichor'. These two tracks will stand alone on a 12'' vinyl, with the rest of Vaudeville released as a 2xLP & CD on the 2nd June.

This was worth the wait, we promise.

Sleaze are now up to their one hundred and forty fifth EP, a staggering amount of history in anyone books. Featuring original music also happens to be the Scottish label boss Hans Bouffmyhre with the release titled Beloved Thug.

Two remixes are in tow from Berliner Subjected and Edge Of Motion, which is the production alias of Dutch duo 2000 and One alongside DJ Madskillz.

Berlin based Subjected is behind the much loved label Vault Series and has also recently launched Subjected Systems, but of course has featured on other excellent imprints such as ARTS, Electric Deluxe, PoleGroup, Prosthetic Pressings and more.

The track we selected for this DT:Premiere is Subjected’s rework of the title track “Beloved Thug” that focuses on melancholic keys over a thundering beat. Powerful and raw, it’s full of emotion and subtle chord changes that really make this come alive and will most certainly deliver stunning, euphoric, dance floor moments.

Upon Access continue to set the pace with another essential new EP, this time from Juliet Fox. The Berlin based techno talent has swiftly risen up through the ranks to now be a globe trotting DJ and producer with credits on labels like Drumcode, Odd Recordings and Relief. Pan-Pot and Alan Fitzpatrick are signed up fans, and this new EP is sure to win plenty more acclaim. The excellent  'Unconditional' is an epic techno track laced with majestic melody , built on a hiccuping drum pattern, with whispered voices drifting in and out of the mix. It builds in intensity and long tailed pads bring a dreamy, mysterious vibe to the label.
