One for the Deejays! After a previous collaboration for FT's Vibe 3 compilation, Dawit Eklund and Max D (in Dolo Percussion mode) join forces for a proper 12" and come catchy, concrete, and correct. "Rise" rotates around and around, Dawit flexing on vocals and earworm keys while Dolo locks in, and "Wise" goes more for the jugular, wild organs and swinging perc over hooky vox and presssssure. OOF!

His production style has been on full display with past releases on Dirt Crew and Delusions Of Grandeur, and his new material fits nicely on the quickly rising imprint.

DJ, Producer and Multi-Instrumentalist

Though its DNA touches on classic soul, rock, disco, and acid house, London-based producer and DJ Marcus Marr makes music for today. Marr’s work - released through DFA Records, Detail and New Finger Records - has been championed by Annie Mac, BBC Radio One, Pitchfork, SPIN, Clash Magazine and The Fader.

A regular at Berlin’s famed nightclub Berghain/Panorama Bar since 2014, Marcus Marr recently released the Familiar Five EP and performed a string of co-headline dates in North America with The Juan Maclean. He has previously appeared with the likes of Hot Chip, Floating Points, The Black Madonna and Optimo, and has performed at the highly-regarded MoMa PS1 Warm Up series, Day For Night Festival, and Art Basel Miami. Marcus has also contributed mixes to Beats in Space and Boiler Room
