Matt wants to remain a mysterious character so this time there won’t be an interview to accompany the mix. Catch his monthly shows on Noods, Loose FM and Slack Radio for more of these heady, trippy dubby affair. Simply Brilliant.

The second installment in his ‘New Selecta‘ series finds Oozing Lethargy diving deeper down the rabbit hole of druggy, dubby aural excursions. Expect post-punk oddities, low-end sonic steppers and smoked-out mutant dub from the get go.

Ahead of our next party, John has put together a superb hour of music to soundtrack the journey to the cosmos. With a singular production style and a detailed knowledge of analogue synthesis, Shima has crafted his own niche in the scene alongside other great producers such as Steve Rutter and Derek Carr. With a production workrate most others could only dream of, he champions a wonderful sound that stylistically sits perfectly between old Sheffield bleep and emotional Detroit techno. His DJ sets cover everything from acid house, dub techno and electro and are a perfect reflection of what we love at On Ro.

The project began in 2018, with the first release on the Purewaxx label with Jeroen Böhm coming in 2019.

After that, “Wrecked in Utrecht” came on Red Laser’s sub label, Peraceamid with a full debut EP following in September 2022 on Aroy Dee’s mighty M>O>S Recordings. Another EP came in 2023 on Non Stop Rhythm with the “Basic Rhythm” EP which explored a more bleep and breaks sound.
