Ocean Waves Plot: 
Ocean Waves is a Studio Ghibli coming-of-age drama about a high school love triangle between Taku Morisaki, his best friend Yutaka Matsuno, and a moody transfer student from Tokyo, Rikako Muto. Told in flashback from the perspective of a college-aged Taku, the film explores the complexities of adolescent emotions, friendship, and changing relationships as the trio navigates school life, a school trip, and the aftermath of gossip and confusion.
