For the second episode of the series, we have Amsterdam based DJ: Vromo
 
Although Vromo has been listening to all kinds of electronic genres throughout his life, it was not long ago that he was introduced to Techno.
 
The endless experimentation and intense atmospheres are some of the aspects that attracted him to the genre. Getting more and more into Techno, he got less interested in modern styles of techno and delve into older vinyl records. Most of them were not released digitally, which resulted in a playing style defined by the 1991-2005 era.
 
Looking for tracks with a strong character and an exciting twist, a track can pop out based on specific elements with changing energy’s and atmospheres.
 
For this set Vromo made a great selection of records he mixed into a journey filled with technical highlights and intensity.

The project began in 2018, with the first release on the Purewaxx label with Jeroen Böhm coming in 2019.

After that, “Wrecked in Utrecht” came on Red Laser’s sub label, Peraceamid with a full debut EP following in September 2022 on Aroy Dee’s mighty M>O>S Recordings. Another EP came in 2023 on Non Stop Rhythm with the “Basic Rhythm” EP which explored a more bleep and breaks sound.
