Jack Endino championed for Big Long Now's inclusion on Incesticide.  It was forgotten after its rejection from the Bleach track list (according to endino.com, Kurt thought there were enough slow, heavy tunes on the record).
Since the release of Incesticide, the Bleach Session outtake was the only version available. The rehearsal session version on the With the Lights Out DVD was a real treat, and remains the only alternate version of the song. Chad Channing claims the band performed this song live, but no recordings have surfaced.

After research by livenirvana.com, it's been found that this is almost definitely not the first show from March 1987. The songs are more developed than a radio session from May, and Kurt's hair is similar in length to later photographs. Based on this evidence, it's guessed that this show takes place in summer 1987, but the exact date is unknown. This is, however, still the first recording of a performance in front of an audience.
