Sander Van Doorn, Martin Garrix, DVBBS - Gold Skies (Elephante Remix)

Rather than the usual bombast or snooze-inducing "relaxation music," the U.K. six-piece known as Clean Bandit mash classical music and pop forms for an airy and dreamy yet driven sound that's like the chamber music version of house music. After the incredible anthem 'Rather Be' they return with a summer feel good sing along 'Extraordinary'.

So to make this beautiful piece of music even more uplifting, cue progressive houses biggest remixers, Still Young, coming off the back of the superb Galantis, "You" remix, they transmit the same euphoria into the soaring xylophone and piano riffs which make the original so potent. Add in the soothing vocal from Sharna Bass and you have another remix masterpiece, courtesy of Still Young.

Following Chocolate Puma’s remix of ‘Arms Around Me’, DubVision and Feenixpawl step up to the plate and deliver the most anticipated release on the label in 2014 (so far). Two sets of producers whose previous appearances on the label left an eternal footprint in the history of Axtone, combine to further solidify their status in the Axtone hall of fame.

Their previous appearances on Axtone being Feenixpawl’s collaboration with Ivan Gough and Georgi Kay for the anthemic ‘In My Mind’ and DubVision’s haunting remix of 'Falling (Committed to Sparkle Motion)' from Scottish Indie band Discopolis.

DubVision are red‐hot following their Beatport No.1 ‘Backlash’ & their Michael Brun collaboration ‘Sun In Your Eyes’. Feenixpawl have not been slouching either in 2014, releasing “I Won’t Break” alongside Trevor Simpson and reuniting with Ivan Gough for “Hear Me, Ft. Christine Hoberg a signature record in Axwell’s sets this summer, ‘Destination’ has been the source of much speculation online since fan footage started to appear online of Ax playing the track at Fabrik, Madrid.

Melbourne-based producer & DJ Marcus Santoro has spent over a decade carving out a distinct sound rooted in melody, depth, and evolution. From the early trance records that sparked his love for electronic music to the rich, textured landscapes of Afro and progressive house that define his current sound, Santoro has always been guided by one thing: feeling.
