I had my first introduction to electronic music with the release of Odesza's album "In Return" in 2014. I was instantly obsessed, and since then I have always had a passion for edm. During my senior year of high school (2017-2018) Illenium's album "Awake" was released, and it completely changed my perspective of what electronic music could be. The vocals, production, and emotion of those tracks were unlike anything I had ever heard. That album got me through some very hard times, and I wanted to do the same for someone else through music. Towards the end of senior year I downloaded Ableton (a popular program for music production). I was incredibly overwhelmed. I had no prior musical knowledge or experience, and Ableton is extremely difficult to jump into. I learned quickly that it takes a tremendous amount of knowledge, creativity, and hard work to produce music. This was a discouraging revelation. Every few months I would sit down, produce a terrible track, close my laptop and move on thinking "this just isn't for me". Then around December of freshman year of college, a switch flipped in my mind. I decided that I was not going to stop until I learned music production. That was about six years ago, and I'm still working hard to produce music with emotion, something people can connect with. I truly believe that no heart makes dreams work and time can't match.

KNOW GOOD is the product of two kindred spirits bound by both blood and bass. Cousins Tanner and Sylas Morgan are the latest in a family legacy of musicians, crafting a genre-defying sound that’s as dark and dynamic as it is unexpected. Currently one of the most versatile producers in the scene, Hamdi’s ability to produce a wide range of styles and genres has made him an exciting prospect for any label to get their hands on. Hamdi’s signature blend of Dubstep, UKG and Grime has earned him support from some of the biggest artists in the world, including Skrillex, Knife Party, Fred Again.., Zeds Dead and Porter Robinson. Closer to home, Hamdi has consistently received support from the UK underground scene’s most prestigious acts, including DJ EZ, Skream, Sherelle and Mala. 

His track Skanka has taken the world by storm and was arguably one of the biggest Dubstep tracks of 2022, with DJ Mag writing '‘Skanka’ has already proven its staying power and firmly cemented its place as a modern classic.' Hamdi has also become known for his energetic DJ sets that have already taken him to India, Australia and the United States. As 3000 Blog wrote, ‘there really aren’t many who are keeping pace with Hamdi, as he tends to fly from deck to deck, pulling the audience from left to right in a seriously thrilled multi-genre ride.’ With releases on labels such as Bassrush, Deadbeats, and Vision Recordings already under his belt, it's safe to say the future is bright for Hamdi.
