Blue Shade Music, founded by father and son duo Robert Bitte and Steven Bitte, is comprised of select songwriters in the Chicago music scene. Artists include Steve Bitte from ex-Soundmine Music Works Alt-Rock Recording Artist Heart Set Self Destruct, the late Jeffrey Windisch from Pavement Records Heavy Metal Recording Artist Emperors n' Elephants, and Fantasy Owl Records Recording Artist and veteran composer Robert Bitte. 

Blue Shade Music creates mostly instrumental songs primarily in the Rock, Hard Rock, Alternative Rock, Heavy Metal, Industrial, Electronic, Ambient, Horror, Pop, Blues, Cinematic, Emotional, Suspense, Percussive, Classical piano covers, and Film Trailer genres. Blue Shade currently works with a number of music libraries for placement in TV and film and other avenues. In 2015, Blue Shade Music has licensed two songs to film production companies both for independent films with one license featuring actress Alicia Silverstone in indie film "Who Gets the Dog".

We believe our music speaks for itself.  Blue Shade Music looks forward to continuing to release more modern, enticing, and exciting material in 2017.

2) Score music for film composition purposes.
3) Create exciting, enticing, and modern sounding tracks with a
    live performance feel behind them.
4) Feed into the listener's emotions in order to move them toward
    a specific feeling.﻿
5) Pass as filler or background pieces.

Most tracks have stems and alternate versions available.
