In 2019, Marcus I & Natural HighDubs will be working together on 7 songs to be released on ODGprod the 11th of march. They are also working on "Step by step" a 7" out on Berry's records in April; they will then play several sound system dates, and will finally join forces on a stage project with melodic vocals from Marcus I carried by Natural HighDubs's raw, minimalist sounds.

Natural High Dubs
Co-founder and keyboard player of the French band High Tone, this self-taught musician has extensive experience as a musician and producer. 
He started to produce music as Natural high dubs in 2009, when he launched the dub invaders project, dedicated to the sound system culture. His uncompromising, raw and minimal sound is a blend of digital reggae, UK dub and stepper, performed live on an analog desk and with digital effects. He has already stacked up quite a few releases featuring Shanti-D, Pupa Jim, Dan Man, Joe Pilgrim & Marcus I, on labels such as jarring effects, ODG and Marée bass. 

Marcus I
Born in Santander (Spain), this singer, musician, and composer decided to dedicate his professional life to music at the age of 23. His album Inner Calling, released in 2016 on black music label Tucxone Records, is a reflection of the huge respect he has for Jamaican music from the 70s. He recently moved to France, and collaborates and performs regularly with various European groups and producers.

Stepper Sons est un projet de deux frères producteurs venant de Bordeaux, ayant débuté en 2016. Le groupe est alors composé de deux membres : Balthazar (Hugo) et Cthulhoud (Hadrien).
Tous deux ayant les mêmes influences et les mêmes aspirations à se lancer dans l'électro-dub, ils sortent rapidement un premier EP, "Rise Of The Stepper Sons" sans label et sur soundcloud pour prendre leurs marques dans la scène locale.

Après quelques dates dans des salles bordelaises sous l'aile de l'association Dirty Knees, ils sortent début 2017, un deuxième EP "The Red Warrior Journey", toujours sans label.
De février 2018 à février 2020, Raoultek rejoint le projet. Il en aboutira alors un premier EP labelisé, chez Marée BASS.
Intitulé Nausicaa, cet EP reprend des thèmes du film éponyme de Miyazaki à la sauce Electro Dub.

Ils montent alors un format live multipistes accompagné de synthé, melodica et autres instruments du monde (guimbardes), allant du dub stepper pour finir en steppa trance/raggatek, rejoignant cette nouvelle branche du French Dub.
Indian Vibes, sortant en avril 2020, signe le retour d'un album produit en famille suite au départ de Raoultek du projet.

Indian Vibes est un projet aux influences multiples où dès la fin de l’intro vous ouvrez la porte sur un album façonné de manière progressive, visant à vous faire voyager du dub à la trance ou encore du dubstep à la tribe. Mûri depuis plusieurs mois, cet album s’adresse à tous les amateurs de dub et de bass music voulant découvrir un univers qui ose mêlé plusieurs styles !

Marée BASS est une association loi 1901 dont le principe est simple : partager et soutenir les musiques à BASS amplifiées ainsi que la culture Sound System.
Depuis 2011 que l'asso existe, elle n'a cessé de croître grâce à un élan de passion qui vise à mettre les producteurs de musiques du genre travaillant en Home Studio sur les devants de la scène. Souvent axée sur le Dub, le Stepper ou encore le Dubstep, Marée BASS flirte aussi avec l'Abstract, le Hip-Hop ou encore la House et l'IDM.
L'éclectisme de l'asso, à l'image de ses fondateurs, génére une force et une volonté de partage relativement unique. De nombreux projets transpirent de cette organisation : Concerts dans les bars (chez nous, chez vous, peu importe !!), Webradio, réalisations de compilations ou encore d'Ep, réalisation d'un blog/site web... Et tout cela grâce à des artistes dans toute la France (et au-delà !!) qui nous font confiance et en qui nous croyons !!
Marée BASS raisonne en terme d'équipe avec ses artistes et tente de proposer les meilleures sauces accoustiques pour un public toujours plus intéréssé...

Marée BASS is an association with a simple aim : sharing and supporting amplified BASS music and the Sound System Culture.
Since 2011, year of the birth, she never stopped growing up thanks to the energy of passion that aim to put music producers of the kind that work in Home Studio on the scene.
