Mexican Stepper debuts on Boom One Records with "Dark Knight", a heavy manners dub selection which morphs old and new school dub techniques and creates a fresh and unique international sound!  With a deep seeded bass line, and a sticky digi drum track, “Dark Knight” makes you feel as though you could become a dark knight in your own right!  Dubbed out arpeggio midi style sounds periodically pan around the room, taunting you to catch them.  But alas, they are quite evasive.  A better idea is to stand firm, let the bass come into you, and let Mexican Stepper take you on an outer-national tour of música dub reggae.

Dub Encounters Vol.1 It’s our first release for 2018, works that arise between the connexion of producers Lo-end Dub & Dub Troubles and the singers Supa Bassie, Tunelon Iration and Burian Fyah. This new reference is a showcase which explore the sonic universe of reggae/dub, 6 tracks  formed by two original songs “Musical Warrior - Tunelon Iration & Burian Fyah ft Lo-end Dub”, a modern rub a dub production style with the imprint sound of the producer and “The Road is Tuff - Supa Bassie ft Dub Troubles” and a more edgy track halfway between rub a dub as well as a dark UK style stepper. Vocal tracks are followed by the analog dub versions and the rework on the productions in a completely new way.
Available the 9th of January 2018, on Spin force’s Bandcamp, mainstreaming service, and digital download outlets.

Forged in the "live" sessions at Reggae Roast Soundsystem in London, Vibration Lab specialize in throw-back juggling style, reminisent of the "old-school" Jamaican soundsystems  who would have a team of MC's and singers to perform over riddims in the dance. Vibration Lab realized the power of these sets and set-forth to capture the excitement of these Digtial Reggae Dancehall cifers in the studio. Vibration Lab set about to create some new riddims in homage to the Digital Reggae they grew up on, but with their own modern twist. Then they assembled the group of incredible talent and voiced at the legendary UK Reggae Producer Nick Manasseh's studio. The result was amazing!

This song is an introduction to the group which showcase's each performers unique style and delivery: Brother Culture who has been chatting on soundsystems since 1982, sets things off by introducing the crew, then super soulful singer Donovan Kingjay delivers the hook in his strong soulful way. The unique voice of the legendary Jamaican MC Colourman takes over in a style and patteren all his own, this is followed by the power of the chorus once again delivered sweatly by Donovan but backed up by the whole crew. Next comes the understated deepness and power from the incredible MC Dark Angel aka Mowty Maylyka who , finally the "Captain" of the team Brother Culture steps up with a mastery of lyrical flow through is years chatting on countless soundsystems. This tune is an announcement of intent of this new team to the world! Here come the Wu-Tang Clan of Digital Reggae!

Dans les années 2000,Flo découvre l’univers des Sound system avec notamment les sessions de Zion Gates Hi-fi et les lives de Miniman, la scène nantaise  entre en ébullition et de nombreux collectif voie le jour .
Avec des amis il crée le collectif High Bass et commence à produire des instrus, il rentre dans le groupe Dub Orchestra en tant que dj avec qui il produit deux albums.
Avec ce nouveau projet les morceaux sont faits dans la tradition du mix dub, la console est placée comme un instrument a part entière permettant une interprétation nouvelle à chaque session.
Enregistré et mixé dans son antre, Low Tide est un clin d’œil au label Marée BASS ,
Une rencontre à base de dubplate était donc inévitable, 
pour cet Ep, HighTai vous sort des remixs et propose plusieurs featurings inna  Low style !!!

Marée BASS est une association loi 1901 dont le principe est simple : partager et soutenir les musiques à BASS amplifiées ainsi que la culture Sound System.
Depuis 2011 que l'asso existe, elle n'a cessé de croître grâce à un élan de passion qui vise à mettre les producteurs de musiques du genre travaillant en Home Studio sur les devants de la scène. Souvent axée sur le Dub, le Stepper ou encore le Dubstep, Marée BASS flirte aussi avec l'Abstract, le Hip-Hop ou encore la House et l'IDM.
L'éclectisme de l'asso, à l'image de ses fondateurs, génére une force et une volonté de partage relativement unique. De nombreux projets transpirent de cette organisation : Concerts dans les bars (chez nous, chez vous, peu importe !!), Webradio, réalisations de compilations ou encore d'Ep, réalisation d'un blog/site web... Et tout cela grâce à des artistes dans toute la France (et au-delà !!) qui nous font confiance et en qui nous croyons !!
