SMILE -  MARGARITA TSOUKARELAS (LIVE CONCERT)

Margarita Tsoukarelas is a greek-polish singer-songwriter, musical performer and vocal coach based in Germany. Alongside her operatic studies in Poland and Germany at both "Music Academy in Wroclaw" and "Hochschule für Musik & Theater Leipzig", Margarita also followed another path, that of Jazz, Chanson and Musical Theater, which was an obvious choice for the passionate performer. Her ardent, emotional stage presence combined with her flexibility in movement and acting skills create an artistic unity. Margarita's speciality is that she effortlessly switches between several different styles and musical genres such as Jazz, Musical, Film music, Pop, Chanson, Swing, Bossa Nova, French music, Jewish folk, World music etc. 
She has performed in diverse theatrical, musical and operatic productions in Germany, Greece, Poland etc. She was a member of the Theater der Jungen Welt Leipzig and Musical Company Leipzig ("Broadway's Best"). With her concert shows "Lady Margarita Swings" and "Lady Margarita - Bei mir bist du scheen!" she performed in several concert halls, festivals and TV shows worldwide. Lately she has been chosen as an artist from the campaign of Saxony:  #kulturdigital "So geht's Sächsisch"  to create and present four of her new songs that she wrote (music & lyrics) : "ISOLATION", "CORONOFILI", "Word of U", "Scarlet Dreams". Margarita wants us to travel with her melodies and words to imaginary and unprecedented places. Her songs have an autobiographical character and their purpose is to present the redemption of the soul in a modern way, while traveling through time. They are composed of a variety of musical elements (pop, electro, jazz, swing, film music) bearing always a surrealistic/ retro detail, which gives them a soundtrack sense."
