Influenced by the synth pop sounds of the ’80s, MargoTheDog grew up surrounded by music through her parents’ vinyl collection: from her mother’s love for new wave and ska, to her father’s records ranging from Pino Daniele to Bob Marley. This eclectic background now shapes her sets, a sonic journey that blends french touch, techno, and the many shades of house—from the warm vocals of deep house and nu-disco, to the minimal pulses of tech house, and the raw edge of electroclash, grime, bassline, and garage. The mix of deep basslines and dirty riffs defines MargoTheDog’s versatile and distinctive style, one that balances energy and romanticism across the diverse spectrum of electronic music.
