Short Bio:

Swingrowers are a quartet from Palermo (Sicily), signed to Brighton based label Freshly Squeezed. Known for their mixture of jazz, swing manouche and dance/electro, they have extensively toured Europe and North America, opening sell-out shows for Parov Stelar, Chinese Man & Caravan Palace. On top of delivering official remixes for Caro Emerald, Swing Republic, Bart&Baker and Skeewiff, Swingrowers have also collaborated with The Lost Fingers, Gypsy Hill and Too Many T’s. Swingrowers songs have also been remixed by Bart&Baker, Swing Republic, Jamie Berry, Catjam and numerous others. Following on from their debut album ‘Pronounced Swing Grow’ers' in 2012, Swingrowers released their latest album ‘REMOTE’ in early 2015. Swingrowers are one of the most exciting rising talents within the retro music scene and have been described as “a band maturing at a rapid pace” [Juno Download].

OPRP - ORCHESTRA POPOLARE ROSA PARKS è un gruppo musicale di orientamento World Music/ska/reggae/folk composto da 7 musicisti, con diverse esperienze musicali, formatosi a Palermo, nel 2005, proponendo dapprima un repertorio composto da cover della tradizione popolare Siciliana che hanno permesso all'OPRP di calcare i più ambiti palchi Siciliani passando per Telethon, Palermo Pride, Cous Cous Fest, Festino di Santa Rosalia e tutte le iniziative a scopo benefico ed umanitario che riconoscessero i valori dei brani made in OPRP, oltre ai numerosi festival musicali in giro per la Sicilia (Hoppa Fest, Nebrodi Art Fest, AlcArt Fest, Mediterraneo Antirazzista....); Nel 2010 debutta il primo disco OPRP "Un tempo tutto nostro", un mix di brani della tradizione popolare Siciliana misti a due inediti scritti dal maestro Francesco Marfia: "Dove non tramonta il Sole" e "Coprifuoco"; Nel 2011 viene inciso il primo singolo inedito SICILIANOAMERICANO grazie alla vittoria del Camastra Music Wave; Ma è nel 2012-2013 che l'OPRP si afferma definitivamente con il lavoro discografico "UNIVERSO E DINTORNI" in uscita ad OTTOBRE 2013 su iTunes e Spotify con 8 brani inediti che abbracciano generi musicali differenti lasciando trasparire l'esperienza artistica dei musicisti provenienti dai diversi ambienti musicali; 
Nel 2013 l'affermazione arriva anche sul web grazie al videoclip ufficiale del singolo "ARIAMARE" che vede protagonisti svariati artisti della scena Italiana che prestano volto e cuore al progetto OPRP;
