Die online Lehre bietet im Vergleich zum traditionellen Präsenzunterricht, ein doch recht überschaubares Sammelsurium von Vorteilen. Zum einen kann bequem von Zuhause aus an Veranstaltungen teilgenommen werden. Dies erspart lästige Fahr- und Fußwege und auch die Pausen können effektiv und ohne langatmige Unterhaltungen genutzt werden. Darüber hinaus sieht man seine Mitstreiter kaum bis gar nicht, garantiert sind sie jedoch zu hören. Ob das ein Pluspunkt für die online Lehre ist…
Die Schattenseiten des digitalen Zusammentreffens, im Rahmen von Lehrveranstaltungen sind weitreichend. Es findet kein tiefergehender Austausch statt, weil die dafür essenzielle nonverbale Kommunikation ausbleibt. Interessante und spannende Gespräche nebenbei kommen, wenn überhaupt nur gelegentlich zustande. Natürliche Dynamiken innerhalb des Plenums oder in Gruppenarbeitsphasen können sich nur eingeschränkt entwickeln. Darüber hinaus ist Halbwertszeit des vermittelten Wissens deutlich reduziert. Wenn keine Kamerapflicht besteht, wird man all zu schnell verleitet sich anderweitig zu beschäftigen. Aktives zuhören erfolgt in Eigenregie und kann dadurch auch schlicht zum Erliegen kommen. Es erfordert sehr viel Willensstärke, Disziplin und Konzentration dem Gesagten aufmerksam zu folgen. Sollte aufgrund von Gründen die Technik dann doch einmal komplett versagen, ist der ganze Spuk auch recht schnell wieder vorbei … 

Der heutige KataHaifisch Podcast entspringt der kreativen Ader von MARHOLZ und ist definitiv einer von der verspielten Sorte. Fröhliche Melodien flirten angeheitert mit Ohrwurm verdächtigen Vocals. Gemeinsam kreieren sie eine unbeschwerte und akustisch-farbenfrohe Atmosphäre. Imagine you are on your way into vacation, driving through beautiful landscapes, feeling the wind on your arms, in your hair and just vibing. This weeks Vacanza Radio could be the soundtrack for you. 
 
Even if you are heading to one of the many festivals this summer, such as one where Buggi and Marholz first met. It was a hot summer of 2016 and it happened at Fusion Festival where they both found that their tastes in music kind of overlapped. 

Buggi himself is from a place you might like to travel to, Playa Venao in Panama, where he is also resident at Selinas. Marholz is actually a Dresden citizen, a city always worth a short trip where he is part of @pan_tone and @zirkulation

Here is my very first Remix I made for Alexandra Ayoobs Original called "Somethings Missing".

This weekend was a blast. 
Its hard to describe the pure joy that we felt during our set on saturday evening from 7-9pm. 
But we give it a shot and try to take you with us to this moment. 

First of all, it was raining cats and dogs for most of the weekend, so we prayed for some good weather. 
When we arrived at the stage, while @reyneke was playing his live set, we were shook by his intriguing sound but also the amount of people that gathered in front of the stage, ignoring the rain from toe to head. 

When we started playing, the blessing happened and it stopped raining, followed by the sun, appearing 30mins later for the second and only time at this day. 
To watch the people turning and applauding the sun was just heartwarming and what we wished for. 

The music was a built up, from warmer tones to heavy hitting bangers and back to an outro that released the tension that we built up during the last hour of our set. 

Beside one technical issue, everything went fine, but the issue was to fun, to not share it with you. 

It happened that one player froze while I (Senior) was searching for the next song to play. 
In pure adrenaline, a short evaluation of how long the actual song  should last, I decided to just restart the player. 
After pressing the shutdown button fully in, I noticed, that the playing track was launched from the player that I was up to restart. 

With the finger on the button, fearing to let it go (it felt like stepping on a mine and then noticing, that you now cant move) @marholz calmly decided to just give it a shot and hope for the safety-loop-function that the pioneers should have activated. 

It worked and in the following 15 seconds we picked the next song and mixed it in, hoping, that no one noticed our little melt down, fearing that the music would stop midset. 

But hey it worked out ;) and overall we had the feeling that we could share a special moment with alot of people, regardless of one failure. 

After this little incident we continued and were happy to hand over the turntables to @sahrabass afterwards, knowing that she will turn up the heat for good.

Thank you @friendlyconnections for the invite and to all the people behind the @zugvoegelfestival that made it happen due to the bad weather and all difficulties that come with it. 
To all the people on the dancefloor that expressed their joy and to all the ones that came over afterwards to have a little chat with us.

What a day it was! I still have a big grin on my face when I think about last Sunday when we took over the Acidbogen at @kater_blau with @pan_tone 🥹

I don't think I've ever been so excited before a gig and would almost have died if so many friends and all my loved ones hadn't been there. The 2.5 hours flew by and as is so often the case, after the first few transitions my fingers and head loosened up... and it was pure pleasure. What can I say, the atmosphere felt even better than expected and I am extremely grateful for this opportunity to play here and also to be able to share songs I have been working on (including the fingers of @seniorcitizen_wav & @serafinadam) live with you and see your reactions 🥰
