Depeche Mode - People Are People (MARHOLZ Edit)

In 1973 Marvin Gaye released his song „Let‘s Get It On“ which is one out of many, that shaped modern music in this time. 

Few years later we (young timetraveller @marholz & seniorcitizen.wav, formerly known as seniorcitizen.tape) did a remix of this song, to give this hit a new twist and to show our respect for Marvin Gayes work. 

Finally we want to share this little gem and celebrate the first release of @marholz with all of you!

Here is my very first Remix I made for Alexandra Ayoobs Original called "Somethings Missing".

This reinterpretation of Depeche Mode's world hit "People are People" is MARHOLZ's first-ever edit in his relatively early career as a producer. With its positive, energetic groove, the track is perfect for putting the icing on the cake of DJ sets and getting the crowd singing along. Having just moved to Berlin, MARHOLZ enjoys experimenting with the indie dance genre while using 80s-influenced sounds and drums. Many more edits and own projects are in the starting blocks and are often accompanied by electric guitars and vocals. The release on Feinstoff is also emblematic of MARHOLZ Dj sets, which he likes to fill with positive energy and groovy basslines.

Bei diesem Song handelt es sich um eine musikalisch sowie handwerklich hochwertige Produktion von Melaune & Marholz. Dabei bedienen sich die beiden der besten Elemente aus dem 2001 erschienenen Top-Ten-Hit und bringen ihren ganz eigenen Charakter & Charme mit ein. Ganz nebenbei handelt es sich bei diesem Edit um eine waschechte Doppelpremiere.
