I am delighted to share "The Eye of the Storm" with you!

This chant came through last year, in the midst of some challenging times.

I was faced with "big waves" in a stormy season of life. 

As I took some deep breaths on a walk in the mountains, these lyrics began to sing through me:

"Holding my center, though the waves keep on coming
Staying strong through the eye of the storm.
Firm like a mountain, no matter the weather,

Cumbia de Nxu is an ode to women, to the sensitive, compassionate and vulnerable feminine nature. 
Nxu means woman in the Otomi language of central mexico, where I come from.
This cumbia is to honor and celebrate the  beauty and love we bring to this world.
