LA GORDA DUBS...DUB PRODUCTIONS FROM BERLIN...

La Gorda Dubs is a Berlin based musician and producer, that is out to put the rootsy vibe back into modern productions, blending influences of dub, cumbia, bass music and hiphop into his very own style of reggaetronics. During his participance in iLLBiLLY HiTEC he toured the world and played all major festivals in Europe and beyond. He collaborated with artists like Longfingah, Cecile, Brother Culture, Zion Train, Dubmatix, SEEED, Dactah Chando, Rob Smith, La Fanfare En Petard, JStar, Lengualerta, No Te Va Gustar, Karamelo Santo, Promoe (Looptroop) and many more…  Now Alex started to explore the combination of cumbia and reggae elements into the new genre of cumbia dub. These songs will be produced in a collaboration with Japanese and Latin American artists. Why? Cause all of them love those vibes... The release of a first  EP is planed for this summer...some singles you can explore already. But stay tuned...

Maxim Vaga is a New Blues singer, Soul Pop pianist and songwriter ­born in Berlin.

Vagas Name steht für den „Vagabunden“ – er liefert das Motiv für seine Musik. In den letzten Jahren ist er viel herumgereist und hat viele unterschiedliche musikalische Einflüsse aufgesogen. Maxim Vaga spielt ein Mashup aus mehreren Stilen: darunter Soul, Blues und Singer-Songwriter. Ein Musiker, der unerschrocken in seine Seele schaut. Maxim trotzt dem Schwermut, indem er ihn zulässt und schafft es somit der unerträglichen Leichtigkeit des Seins einen Sinn zu geben. Jenseits von Kommerz und Zurschaustellung, bietet er althergebrachten Blues, der so aktuell klingt, wie das Genre alt ist. Mit einer Hand voll Musikern, die ihre Instrumente nicht nur spielen sondern auch kratzen können, und seiner rauen, ursprünglichen Stimmgewalt, die unprätentiöser nicht sein könnte - unvergänglich schön, wie die Welt selbst.

Stephan Ebn is a German drummer and music producer. He worked on numerous projects in Europe and the United States both as a studio musician and live drummer. In the rock/pop field, he has collaborated with artists such as Gianna Nannini, Middle of the Road, Lynn Anderson, Helmut Zerlett, Kimberley Dahme, Jon Walmsley and Johan Eliasson among others. In the jazz field, he has also worked with Wolfgang Lackerschmid, Bill Molenhof, Claus Stötter, Jörg Widmoser, and many others. As a musician/producer, he has collaborated on numerous CD releases and has participated in countless international music festivals with a variety of artists.
From 2006 to the present, Stephan is the drummer and programmer of the world-renowned Scottish band Middle of the Road, and he is currently touring with this band throughout Europe. In 2007, he started working with Gianna Nannini; first in studio and finally on stage. The Pia Come la Canto Io Tour was followed by over 60 concerts of the Giannabest Tour in 2008. During the Amiche per l'Abruzzo Concert on 21 June 2009 at the San Siro stadium in Milan, Stephan joined the stage with Gianna Nannini, Laura Pausini and others to benefit the victims of the earthquake in the Abruzzes. Since 2008, he joined Andreas Wiersich's Midnight Story Orchestra where he continues to work as a jazz drummer. Also in 2008, he started touring with the singer/songwriter Solly Aschkar, for whom Stephan has additionally produced the album Miles.
As a studio musician and producer, Stephan Ebn has worked in studios in Nashville, London, Glasgow and Milan, among other locations. He can also be heard on the soundtracks of numerous cinematic films such as The Vexxer, Jerry Cotton or more recently on the soundtrack of the new Bavarian cult film Trans Bavaria. Stephan is one of the most sought-after German tour and studio drummers.

Maria's music combines her Bavarian roots, African panache and yodeling love for life with catchy beats. Her Bavarian Wildstyle made off pop, reggae, hip-hop, dancehall, gospel and meditative circle songs meets a traditional, down-to-earth superwoman from the German region of “Holledau".
According the Berlin scene magazine ZITTY Maria carries “the most crazies and off-the-wall country-folk-rap-electro-afro-pop” into the world. Others see her as the “inventor of yodel-pop“.
Maria puts it simple: “My words echo dialect, my heart echoes music!”
