This podcast is filled with groove and emotions. Recorded at home in a space of comfort, HOVR felt confident enough to showcase more of his self produced work. Contrary to the harder tones he likes to play in clubs, this one comes straight from a feel-good place.

Honoured one more time to have an admired DJ as our RUND Matinée main act, Jake The Rapper, we had closing duties after his juicy set. 
And from the beginning it was clear the crowd demanded energetic sound. And energy was delivered accordingly, like a controlled detonation, from a rich variety of indie dance and what we call "electropork" :) 

2 hours that felt like 5 min. 

Thanks to all the RUNDies dancing and screaming (you can hear the people in the set) these 2 hours  and the whole day at Hive.

It is my deep and unending love for music that has taken me far and wide over the past years of my life into the music and festival industry, locally and globally, and it is this same love that now brings me here to this moment as a DJ and curator with you.

Along this love affair with music, I have had the privilege to witness and immerse myself in the most incredibly colorful range of music, communities, DJ’s, producers, events, and experiences - on either side of the DJ booth.

These experiences have not only deepened my love for music, but in the most profound way have also carved and evolved my musical taste and the person who I am today - it has given me my community that surrounds me.

Out of all of the insights and lessons I’ve gained along the way, the two things that have shown themselves most to me, are that music creates undivided and unified communities, and that there’s a growing need within these communities for softer, warmer, and more held environments. Some of my favorite dance floor moments have been in the more cozy, sexy and inviting settings.

Creating a safe space, where a community formed is my ultimate dream. Senses is exactly that, it is a celebration of that soft, feminine and equally mighty place inside, where music is born from. Senses is inspired from this return to ourselves as emotional and evocative beings.

I hope you love it as much as I do.
