Welcome "Sounds of the East" by AZAZ aka Loai Shaker, an exceptional talent in the world of electronic music. With a passion for creating melodic oriental organic house /downtempo /progressive music, Loai quickly made a name for himself in the industry. Originally from Egypt, Loai was influenced by the rich musical traditions of his culture, particularly the sounds of desert blues, qawwali, Sufi music, and Arabic melodies. These sounds have deeply inspired his creative process and helped shape his unique style. Azaz music is a blend of contemporary electronic beats and the traditional sounds of the Middle East, with a focus on creating an uplifting and positive vibe. Through his productions, Loai seeks to share the beauty and richness of his cultural heritage with a global audience. About this set, AzAz adds: "I tried to collect as many of the sounds that had an impact on my life, childhood, adulthood, etc as possible. It is hard, even impossible to collect them all in a 1-hour set, but I did the best I could for my annual ritual to provide a unique record for radioOzora."
