Soul Has No Tempo present Groove Curse, Jordan Rakei's long-awaited follow up to highly-acclaimed debut EP Franklin’s Room, his modern take on reggae-infused soul music. With the first single off the EP, Street Light featuring Berklee College of Music Alumni, Gwen Bunn (vocalist and producer of Schoolboy Q’s Collard Greens feat. "Spain is a song that takes attraction from "like" to "get to know each other better". It's a pure love song, which I feel is something missing in Soul/R&B music lately. For our generation it seems like every song is straight about sex. As a woman, we love being complimented and hearing sweet nothings in our ear. I feel like this song represents the comfort that takes the woman from thinking the guy is attractive to, "I think I like him".
