I want my work to manifest as a flow of memory and association akin to a state of semiconsciousness in which the dreams of near-actualized utopias, anxieties and acts of will in defiance of a darkening future traverse the sensorium, at the threshold of language, with euphoria, fear, eroticism, and hope. 

I work constantly to develop a space beyond all prior aesthetic divisions, forcefully defining itself on its own terms, understanding itself as the result of a singularity, in a non-AI sense: a single consciousness, or a single group of consciousnesses (as in a swarm or hive), acting at a specific moment in time, with its own desires, relationships to history, propulsions. 

I understand the year 2023 to be a time where divisions between the material and conceptual; the constructivist and the intuitive; the referential and the new have all been dissolved back into an open space of possibility.

I take honesty to be the most powerful engine of invention.

Kristian Josifoski (b. 1996) is a composer and percussionist based in Boston who's interests include: integrating elements of the musical vernacular into a new music idiom, using music as a metaphor for the philosophical concept of difference and repetition, enjoys working with crossfades, proportionality resonance and composed theatre.  

He earned his B.M. in Music Composition at Valparaiso University, and studied composition and theory with Benjamin Krause and Sky Macklay. Kristian has attended workshops and masterclasses by Stefan Ashbury, Joshua Rifkin, Tonia Ko, Jake Runestad, Gaudete Brass, Oystein Baadsvik, Stefon Harris, and Spektral Quartet. He earned his M.A. in Composition at NEC, and studied with John Mallia and Stratis Minakakis.

Brooks Clarke (1991) is a composer and performer whose work is inspired by human psychology, sociology, and the ever-changing digital anthropology of the 21st century; it also explores the hidden methods of communication and interaction, and concepts of reality and existentialism.

Brooks is a graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, earning a M.M. in Composition with a minor in Music Theory, with Studies in Contemporary Music. As a theorist, Brooks’ work has been presented at the University of North Georgia Research Conference on Contemporary Composition, Nief-Norf Festival, and the VIPA festival. His research is focused in the analysis of works of composed theatre, and the music of Pierre Boulez. He is also Magna Cum Laude graduate of Jacksonville University and holds a B.M. in Composition. He was a quarter-finalist for the 2019 and 2020 GRAMMY Music Educators Award, a national finalist for the 2022 American Prize in Chamber Music, a recipient of the 2017 Delius Composition Award, the 2017 Jacksonville University College of Fine Arts Deans Interdisciplinary Award, and the 2010 Louis Armstrong Jazz Award.
