Brighton local and man of many talents KXVU joins the 877 team with his own take on dark and minimal UK Funky! 
We first met KXVU during the exciting times of Dubstep’s heyday when he would be a regular at all the best raves despite being significantly too young to get in officially. He has since gone on to co-found the renowned Southpoint label and is a prolific producer in his own right. 

We wanted something special for a remix and Lorenzo BITW was the obvious choice. We have been fans of his unique, hybrid fusion of bass for a long time and could not be more excited to have his remix as part of this release!


03 - KXVU - Jaguar Ft Banzai (Lorenzo BITW  Remix)

Five years after his last album on Rinse, Roska returns back to the long play format for something special, something he’s been working on and off for the last 3 years. This body of work contains some of his most ingenious work continuing to craft his own lane from the UK Funky template he and others have birthed a decade ago. Whilst being a figurehead and mentoring artists coming up in the music scene, Roska has shown and proved that his love for the sound he has produced over the years hasn’t stopped, although during the genre’s decline between 2012 and 2014 he reverted to playing more House and predominantly his own productions to fill the void. Accompanying the LP will be a live show with dates incoming later this year. 

Moving forward to 2018, Roska’s RKS label is in its 10th year with this release being the 91st. Carving lanes for artists such as Murder He Wrote, Motu and Polo over the last 3 or 4 years and having some classics early on from the likes of Champion, MA1, DJ Naughty.
