His deep and eclectic style creates energetic sets that offer not only an experience for your ears, but also for your body and mind. In Borak’s music you’ll hear the influence of Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. 

The DJ career that started in Turkey took Borak across Europe and to Los Angeles where he has played on stage at some of the top festivals in the world including Burning Man, Echoes From Agartha and Lightning in a Bottle Festival. He has gained additional exposure with his recent co-acts with world renowned DJs Dixon, Blondish ,Keinemusik, Guy J and DJ Tennis in Los Angeles as well as Patrice Baumel at Do Not S
it Miami.

At the beginning of 2023 Borak released his first EP under the successful Miami based record label “Magician on Duty” as he started a brand new chapter in his career. The 4 track EP “Le Magistrat” entered in charts on its first day and managed to become number 1 in both Beatport Afro House and Beatport Indie Dance Release Charts.

Spanish-bred Mario Bazouri grew up listening to everything from Michael Jackson to George Michael to
Prince.
He discovered electronic music in the early 90s on the South Coast of Spain when working as a PR
at a Spanish disco bar that played Spanish Bacalao (Techno).
He moved to Dubai and helped define the club scene by organizing and promoting “DEEP NIGHTS” which welcomed Danny Tenaglia, Armand Van Helden, John Digweed, Erick Morillo, Pete Tong and many more to the city. Today apart from being a highly rated Black Belt Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Practitioner and Competitor, he’s now on the other side of the ticket line, as a DJ & Producer and has become a frequent player in some of Dubai’s finest underground parties, earning himself a residency in Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE, Iris Dubai, Gate Two, Moe’s on the Fifth, Playa Pacha Dubai, The Hatch Dubai, Disconekt Dubai, Playa Padre Marbella & Momento Club Marbella as well as a weekly show on Ibiza Global Radio UAE.
Inspired by Bedouin, Trikk, Dixon, Santiago Garcia, &ME, Made by Pete & Patrice Baumel just to name a few, his sound is shot through with a rock-solid groove that consists of infectious percussions, Ethnic vibes and dark melodic synths.
Music Production came next where he signed to renowned record labels such as Sudam Recordings, Redolent, Life in Colour, Exotic Refreshment, Lump Records, Kośa, Voyeur Music, Natura Viva, Sony Music Entertainment, Ma’ana Music and many more.
He has also released his first sample pack on Exotic Refreshment to help new and upcoming producers with music production.
Putting lots of focus on his productions, he is expecting many releases in the coming year.
During his career behind the decks, he’s warmed up and shared the decks with many International Underground Talents.

Born in Milan Italy with Iranian heritage, I started music when I was 14 years old playing afro cuban percussions. Growing up in Italy, electronic music is ingrained into the culture and has had great influence on the evolution of my productions.

Around the age of 18, I began to create music. My very first release was titled "Persian Dream" featuring Marco Bonuso released on Sound Division (ITA). Persian Dream was one of the first fusion tracks that truly combined electronic music with Middle Eastern vibes. Persian dream was one of the most successful tracks played in 2007 by some of the largest artists in the world.

The next release was a collaboration with DJ Aron of LE Follies De Pigalle called “Don’t feel no shame”. It was featured as one of the top Beatport tracks and number 6 on the overall chart for 2 months in 2008. Shortly after, I started to play at many clubs and events across Italy.

In 2011, I moved to LA and shifted away from European-tech to more sophisticated sounds with experimental grooves and slower beats inspired by my origins.

After moving to the US and being away from music for few years, I started producing and djing again and most recently opened the Santa Monica based label Pipe & Pochet with Patrik Khach. My goal is to inspire other artists and fans through music and have now began to showcase my productions in the US and beyond.
