Setting aside the glasses for a moment, Mia Moffet continues to grow and evolve as a singer-songwriter. Using heartbreak and questions about life as fuel, there are always new songs being written. Mia was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago and is currently residing in a small town in Ohio. 
  Mia is a firm believer that when it comes to her music, simple is better. "The bells and whistles aren't needed, if it's a great song, it will stand out, even if it's only a guitar and vocal track."

Mia Moffet is the stage persona of unsigned artist Michelle W. a.k.a. me :) I have been writing songs for years but have only recently begun to write them for myself, about myself, and so that others can share my experiences and hopefully grow and become stronger people from whatever they've been through.
