Started Dj'ing in the mid to late 90's and before long was playing Progressive and Hard House at venues in the South West as a resident for Big Hammer Promotions. Known back then as Superfly Sy he played alongside the likes of Lee H, Dj Ster, Creature Craig, Kev Smoothhound Walters & Rowland the Bastard to name a few.

After a long time out and rebooted as SfS he is back on the decks mixing Hard House on vinyl and has also moved to digital format, mixing Hard House, Hard Dance, Hard Trance and Psy Trance.

I fell in love with the hard dance scene shortly after moving from my native New Zealand to the UK in 1999, raving in London every other weekend. In 2001 I bought my first decks and locked myself in my bedroom for 6 months learning to mix on vinyl then played out at a few events I ran with my mates. 
Family and responsibilities came along in 2006 and I had a long break from the scene until 2023 when I rediscovered my love for raving and mixing and reinvented myself from a hard trance to a hard house dj. 
2024 I played my first club gig in 18 years for Therapy at Basing House in London then Insanity in Rayleigh, Essex and on NYE played at Redliners - DJ's in PJ's at Basing House. My most recent gig was Mind Ova Matter in Bournemouth in April of this year.
Recently I have started running the hard house event Limelight with Barry Harding.
I have a monthly residency first Saturday of the month 6-8 pm on the Keeping Hard House Alive Twitch channel, 2nd Friday of the month on Four Forces Digital Twitch channel and last Friday of the month on the Insanity Twitch channel.
