After our first release via ZZK records 2 years ago, History of Colour, a collaboration project between El Búho and Barrio Lindo, returns with our second release, "Calidoso". The 4 track EP explores new sonic landscapes for us both, inspired by slow-dance and flitting between andean folk, marimba, electronica and organic sounds.

The music was co-created by Robin (El Búho) and Agustín (Barrio Lindo) in January over emails and Dropboxes between Buenos Aires & Mexico DF and mastered by our good friend Nicola Cruz based in Quito, Ecuador.

The artwork is a fragment of a gorgeous mural called called "Historia del tiempo" from Buenos Aires by the Argentine artist Elías Santis.

In more than a decade represented by the strongest labels (150+ releases) and performing on the biggest international stages, Marc has established as a unique producer and DJ.

After releases and remixes on Noir Music, Traum Schallplatten, Definition:Music, Katermukke, Selador – just to name a few – Marc is currently working on his second artist album which will be released in 2017 on his homebase label Einmusika Recordings.

According to his own productions, Marc is running the rising label JEAHMON! Records and opened another platform for the artists origins. “How I Met The Bass” is a storyteller podcast project which became a big brand yet.

Un trabajo que parte de la reflexión que propone la psicología GESTALT, entender que la percepción de la música depende de un proceso cognitivo que puede ser diferente para todas las personas; a partir de esto se puede construir estructuras alternativas en la composición de armonías, melodías, en la inclusión de instrumentos electrónicos, pero sobre todo, entender que el todo nunca será igual a simplemente la sumatoria de sus partes.”

Es así entonces que en CANTO RODADO encontraremos una propuesta alternativa que recopila elementos del pop y del rock dentro de un formato acústico y electrónico, acompañados de atmosferas que transportan a espacios atemporales de la naturaleza, un eco en la punta de la montaña, un camino entre Cefeidas estrellas, un  nosotros ¡Somos mezcla!

The duo Baime A.K.A Mikael Melander and Jens Christian Nørgaard are known for exploring the paths of melodic techno with a twist of old school house and a grain of acid. Mikael is known from his recent victory in Danish mix-off of the Burn Residency competition, the music collective Cph deep and the infamous IG60 parties, and Jens for being behind the Blindfold records label.

In the studio the melodic sound of techno is their main musical character. Baime has recently released their first original track “The Damned” that went straight on the Beatport chart, rewarding the DJ Duo with a stunning top 20 position on the Deep House chart.

Baime is now back after their debut single “The Damned”. To thank everyone for the continued support they decided to give away a track ahead of their first official EP out early 2018 on Blindfold Recordings.
