Iris Gold is out with her brand new single "Roll it out" Produced by Gil Lewis. 

The hard-hitting, retro futuristic soul/pop artist Iris Gold jumps back into the spotlight with a follow-up single to the infectious ”All I Really Know” that dropped at the end of last year. The new single “Roll It Out” combines throwback soul grooves with modern hip hop beats, laced with a strong pop hook and packed with Iris’ unique attitude and energy. In other words, bringing old-school vibes into a modern setting!
 
She continues to move in her own hippie hop direction, and for this new single she says:
 
”It’s the song to get down to at the local BBQ. Or the one tune you put on when you roll out with your crew with the top down, shades on and just feeling fly. It’s about letting go and starting over fresh. About living your life to the max. Rolling out life like a movie and trying to make it a smash, a blockbuster. Not just being the viewer in front of the screen but really take part. You cannot pause your life when shitty things happen. Life just keeps rolling and you gotta just move with it”.
 
“Roll It Out” is produced by Iris’ friend and East London-based producer Gil Lewis (Jones, Sabella, Nina Nesbitt). He got a clear order from Miss Gold herself: give me campfire singalong hip hop pop vibes, the love revolution vibe - and he did. Hence, “Roll It Out” was born.
 
Iris Gold continues to tour Scandinavia, and one of the highlights of this summer will be her playing at the classic Roskilde Festival in July.
