The SWINGROWERS are on a roll! (Even more so with GYPSY HILL on board!) After the incredible part 1 of their cover version EP entitled; 'DO NOT COVER' featured probably the best ever version of Paolo Conte's VIA CON ME, the Italian trio now follow it up swiftly with this gem of a homage to swing music before they return once again with part 2 of their cover version EP later this summer! QUEEN OF SWING also features a collaboration with one of London's finest Balkan Brass outfits, GYPSY HILL whom they met backstage at the RUMPUS club one night and the single is every bit the feel-good, summertime floor-filler one would expect from that heritage. In the summer of 2013, Above & Beyond performed some of their best-loved songs acoustically as part of a 15-piece band, across four sold out shows at London's famous Porchester Hall which formed the basis of the "Above & Beyond Acoustic" studio album. The album was recorded in the spring and summer of 2013 and features a 24-piece orchestra.

"The acoustic project is a reconnection with the musicians that we were before we met", said Above & Beyond's Tony McGuinness. "The songs have been on an interesting journey to get here because we tend to write in a fairly acoustic way anyway. We don't just stick a bit of vocal over a dance track - that's not how we work. We try to start with a song and it's usually only later down the line that we take certain elements from that song and progress them into a more dancefloor-friendly version".

With Above & Beyond "Acoustic", the group are putting aside their CDJs and lighting rigs to showcase their deeply-rooted musicianship and classical training. A band first and foremost, Above & Beyond are songwriters as much as they are DJs. Working with three singers, a string quartet, harpist, drummer and bassist, Above & Beyond are pushing the boundaries of dance music. Tony McGuinness sings and plays guitar, mandolin and ukulele, Paavo Siljamäki plays the grand piano and cello, and Jono Grant plays the Rhodes piano, guitar and vibraphone.

	I am excited the release of the the first of three Cualli albums entitled "La Ceremonia"  1, 2 and 3.  These tracks are collections from the past two years, the first release being the newest material and the third being the oldest.  "La Ceremonia 1" is available now at www.cuallimusic.com, 2 and 3 will be released  in September of 2014.  
	The albums will be available for free or pay what you want.  In addition, My friend Unmess has made an amazing piece to serve as the artwork for the album.  I am pleased to announce that we will be will also be offering high quality prints of the artwork in conjunction with downloads of the album/s.
	The inspirations for the tracks has varied but the Earth and Mother Nature run through all of it.  Though I am the worker who brought this music into existence I cannot take credit for it as ultimately, all things go back to their origin, to their source.  Many years ago I experienced a deep connection with the Earth and though this moment in time was fleeting,  ever since it has been my mission to continue cultivating this connection and helping others to cultivate their own connection with the Earth.  
	There is a saying that in life, we are never given more than we can handle and I know that we experience times in life where we feel like it is just too much to go on.  In a similar fashion, this is what the Earth is going through.  We as humans need to regain our connection with the the Earth.  There are many ways that we can help her and I am happy to hear many related conversations emerging on a grander scale.  
	For me, I have chosen to help take some of the heavy load that her soul bears into my own soul.  I also choose to appreciate nature and share this appreciation.  Both of these things are part of what I am sharing in my music.  Mother Nature is such a fun and loving being but like any good mother, she wants to keep her children safe.  Sometimes this comes out in hurricanes of natural force, brutal but purifying.  
	It is my prayer that she feel my love for life here on Earth.  From the butterflies, to the hippos, to the jungle to the redwoods, to the flowers, this planet of which we are stewards is an amazing, wondrous and beautiful place.  I for one want humans and other life to be able to flourish on this planet.

This track was written and recorded in a single day. It is a short "what if" thesis asking "What do acoustic gut string guitar, vocal, hammered dulcimer, AC-30/Ebo/Tele sound like with judicious amounts of spectral bluring and some Csound granular opcodes". Inspired by a conversation...a long and meaningful one, late at night. 

Sometimes conversations become a place, that in memory at least, you can return too. Listening to this I can remember where I was sitting, and the way I held the phone and exactly how I felt on this very hushed night. 

I took this photograph in Erskine in Australia (short drive inland from the coastal town of Lorne). It was taken on a 5DmII using a 17mm 1.4 L lense and I did minor color correcting/film grain/vignetting in Magic Bullet. It seemed to really suit this piece. 

Excited to share these two new albums with you. Enjoy.
