Once upon a time at one lazy, rainy, Swiss summer sunday afternoon, señor Miajica, who likes to taste a lot of different things sometimes incongruous with each other... So, he was very moody that day and spontaneously decided to record this mix, that fully reflect our condition...He took and combined all that help him to feel ease, especially at this kind of situations - that can just occur sometimes...He create our therapeutic blend that can help everyone, when this happens... 

Through music, Miajica communicates with the universe, expressing and manifestatin' ourself in various aspects, for example, in a band Alma Negra and rattlesnake African-Spanish-Italian-Latin mix of participants...Or individualize by Oriental, Eastern intertwining patterns, influenced by his friend - Mehmet Aslan, with whom he have a creative interchange, as well as they run a label, called Fleeting Wax.

Brendon Moeller has essentially spent almost everyday of his life since 1994 in a home recording studio. Through research and practice he has evolved into a prolific producer with 10 full length albums under his belt and dozens of singles and remixes. He has performed live and DJ'ed at Fabric, Berghain and Cielo and then some. His love of a hybrid of hardware and digital resources for production shines through. His music has been championed by the likes of Francois K, Speedy J, Danny Howells, amongst others. An eclectic sensibility stemming from a love of many genres of music is always evident in Brendon's work.

Recorded in 1991 (I think). This original version was unreleased but a remake appeared on Screen Ceremonies in 1995. The truth is I prefer this rough original - the remake sounds fussy and overworked.

The B2 to the Recast EP featuring Mike Ink, DJ Guy, & Terrestre aka Murcof released 11/09/2017 on Future Primitive.

A second release for London's Future Primitive Records brings to the fore a new hand-picked selection of hard to find - if not overlooked - tracks from Wolfgang Voigt, DJ Guy and Fernando Corona, aka Murcof. All of the music to feature on this four-track Recast EP was previously subject to tape or CD only release.

Lifted from his only album as Love Inc., Wolfgang Voigt's "Income" sits primo as the A1, holding firm 22 years after its original release. Predating Voigt's work as GAS, its caustic chords, shimmering melodies and chilled 85BPM vibe render it a production borne from the classic dub techno blueprint of the early-to-mid '90s. An early take on "slo-mo" techno.

The cassette tapes of DJ Guy have again been raided, with Future Primitive joining a select cast of followers to rejuvenate the Welshman's productions with an edit that appeared on his tape for Crisis Urbana.

Both B-side tracks "Botas De Oro" and "Secondary Inspection Theme" come from Murcof's one-time Terrestre alias, a project from the early-2000s which fuses textural, slow-motion and minimal house sensibilities with Mexican Banda and NorteNo music - aka Nortec, a micro-sub-genre to come out of Tijuana. Loose percussion, swung drums and winding rhythms are made all the more esoteric through the subversively climactic nature of Terrestre's music.

"When crawling to the summit, I saw a person emerge from the mist. A disfigured man in a tattered robe drew two cards from his sleeve and laid them on the slab between us.  'The Magician' and 'The Devil' were pictured in a vibrant color illustration.  As I stared intensely at the cards, the man shuffled over to a faded green jukebox between two ancient pillars. He made a selection and some music began.  It had an eerie, hypnotic quality to it.  Melodies cycled together in a warped assemblage of modes ranging from Anglo folk and basement jazz to some late night Pagan gospel set.  Moments of ethereal beauty blended into nightmare tones and possessed invocations. It suggested a deep mystery and as I listened, the figures on the cards moved and staggered across the rocks. The mist enveloped me and turned violet. When I awoke, I was back at the base of the summit.  Laying next to me were the cards and an LP album that was the music from the green jukebox.  It was called 'Magician/Le Diable' by an artist named White Gourd. I have returned to it over and over again as I light various colored candles in my apartment and muse on the inherent strangeness at play, always and forever."
