Matush rozpoczął swoja profesjonalną przygodę występów jako DJ na początku lat 90-tych.

Grając z płyt winylowych dopracowywał technikę miksowania i w latach 1995, 1996, 1997 wielokrotnie wygrywał polską edycje międzynarodowych mistrzostw DMC w miksowaniu  i występił na mistrzostwach świata w Włoskim Rimini podczas World DJ Technics Mixing Championships 1996.
Jego technikę i otwartość docenił także Liroy z którym współpracował podczas nagrywania płyty oraz trasy koncertowej w latach 1997 - 1998.
Od zawsze muzyczne występy to mieszanka wielu gatunków gdzie wspólnym 
mianownikiem jest muzyka elektroniczna.
Zagrał we wszystkich znaczących klubach w Polsce oraz takich festiwalach jak Creamfields, Audioriver, Electrocity, Sunrise, Base Planet, Parada Wolności, Parada Równości, Warsaw Fest...
W Europie grał na oficjalnych imprezach w takich miastach jak Dublin, Londyn, Ibiza - San Antonio, Berlin, Moskwa. Jako producent muzyczny od 1997 posiada na swoim koncie ponad 100 autorskich produkcji oraz remiksów. 
Jego nagrania wielokrotnie docierały na czołowe miejsca Beatport oraz Traxsource, a na Spotify milionowe odsłony pokazują zainteresowanie oraz wartość muzyczną.


Od 2014 Matush prowadzi własny label muzyczny Groove Tom Records.
