Hailing from Zahle in the mountains of Lebanon, Marjaba's passion for music is deep-rooted in culture - as his father had a career training and dancing professional Dabke with the iconic Fairouz and Rahbani brothers during Lebanon's golden age.

Now based in Montreal, he crafts a distinctive sound characterized by depth, groove, and driving energy. He made his mark in the local scene with standout performances at venues like Stereo Afterhours and Stereobar.

Marjaba revealed Sonotopia as an outlet for his creative ethos, on which he launched a mix series and a showcase, laying the groundwork for a bright future of exciting adventures & collaborations.

He also hosts an annual "Deeper Realms" that focuses on more experimental sounds that include ambient and electronica.
