Love And Warhol Song By Sean Lennon

Yet another song is from my 1988 cassette tape of collected songs, “What’s All This Fuss About Heather Cole?”

Written about my girlfriend at the time, Linda.  She was divorced and had a young boy.  I never met him but incorporated him into the song, noting how parents and children might have similar facial expressions.

The rhythm guitar part is sort of artless and one dimensional – chugging along monotonously throughout the whole song.  But it may work for it.  Not sure about it.  The lead is nice. 

Overall, it holds up as a sweet song.  Linda might not see it that way though.

This is an Ambition Recliner song from 2009. Eric on vocals and guitar, Neil Fasen on bass, Tom Kemmer on drums. It’s about the frustration of hopeless relationships, seasonal anxiety disorder and loathing February.
