MY - IV - The Remfields

I recently worked on the final mix-down of this track and shortened the titled from "Met You In Valhalla" & abbreviated it to "MY-IV". I went through several versions of this track before I finally created the final cut of this song.  It's hard to match how it sounds in your head and try to recreate it to your best ability in an audible form.  I also added an elongated introduction.  I have always been a fan of the Surround Sound commercials at the Movie Theaters before a film starts.  I wanted to bring a playful quality to this track.

The song may seem like it's a person, but it's actually about pain medication. After a pretty invasive surgery had me on pain killers for weeks, I didn't realize I was developing a dependency on them. Luckily one of my doctors noticed what was going on and stopped it before it became a bigger issue. This song is about being free of something I didn't know was taking over until after I was free.
