Working on the default pistons for our new prototype instrument from Paramount Organ Works tonight. It will have all the usual stuff, plus some Jazz and Blackpool sounds too. Here are the results of some of the Jazz sounds. More flue mutations than you can throw a stick at......and a plucked string bass :-)
The music goes back to my days in the Jazz Band - Devilette as played by the master of tenor sax, Dexter Gordon. All these sounds will come with the instrument for you all to play with !!

Theatre organ playing at it best - Lew Williams performs at the Wurlitzer at Organ Stop, Phoenix Arizona. 

Wade Bray, the recording engineer, captured one of the best recordings I've ever heard of a theatre organ, and transfer to disk is great quality.  This copy was professionally cleaned to remove the pressing solution that is often left behind in the grooves. The result is a full bass range that wasn't there before.  

Lew Williams - String of Pearls

Born in Peoria, IL, Mark’s early exposure to music was in his home and his grandfather’s church. Music has always been a focal point in the Demmin household, with many vocalists and keyboard artists in the family. As a crooner in the classic tradition, singing the great standards of the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s is his greatest joy, with the Glenn Miller favorite,“Serenade in Blue,” his trademark piece. He has also lent his voice to radio jingles and commercial voiceovers in the Chicago area. Mark has had the opportunity to work with known Chicago area pianists: Larry Harris, Johnny Gabor, Bruce Oscar, Spencer Keys, David Turner, Frank Caruso, Bradley Williams, Larry Novak, John Wright, Maryanne Garrett, as well as nationally known jazz organists Tony Thomas and Tony Monaco. Mark has also appeared with other well-known Chicago jazz artists: Rusty Jones, Nick Tountas, Dan Shapera, Nick Schneider, Chad Rager, Andy Meecham, Paul Jacki, Kelly Summers, Danny Reese, Frank Portolese and Pete Castronova. Mark is the principle director of Vintage Vocals Entertainment in Naperville, IL. VVE specializes in presenting, the great American Songbook. More to the point, Jazz and Popular Standards spanning the decades of the 1920's to 1950's. He is a trained lyric baritone and his vocal power/range has been compared with the likes of (Golden Age) crooners: Johnny Hartman and or Billy Eckstein as well as popular current American lyric baritone, Thomas Hampson. He also has experience in comedic writing, as well as several studio recordings.
